Great place to spend the night, we were 5 min away from Stonehenge which was our next-day plan. Please be advised that if you choose the “pay at property” option they only accept cash or bank transfer, no Credit Card payment. Just a tip, so you’re prepared 👍 Linda was a great host and the place is quite charming!
I like the size of the room and the bathroom. But the shower water pressure was weak and temp adjustment was difficult. The shelf at the sink in the bathroom was tilted so when I put on my things they fell and was not a good experience.
Apart from that it was good.
I'm a fan of hotels with character and charm and staying here had both.
The manager Linda was so helpful and understands whether contractors or visitors your stay matters.
Felt really homely, my room had an ensuite(bath and shower option) and a garden view at the rear of the lodge.
My bed was so comfortable!!
Obviously due to covid conditions they have arranged breakfast well to give you peace of mind and options. They have a games room with snooker table etc and a comfy lounge area and a picnic and Bbq area in the front garden.
My only regret is I didn't stay longer, however I do intend to return.
Quaint little B and B, but run down though and stuck in the 90s. major issue with a very noisy boiler located in my bathroom. No one around in the evening/morning to complaint to so sent and email with a video showing how loud it was, I could even hear it over the road OUTSIDE when loading my car. No reply to the email in over a week….. would not recommend at all
