We loved the room and the facilities were good. However, we did thinkvthat the duvet coukd have been a warmer weight. There were no other blankets or duvets we could use to increase the warmth of the bedding.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Room was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed. Bathroom was clean, great hot water, comfy towels and linen. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend as an option near Salisbury.

Staff friendly. We booked for one night to go to Paultons park with one child but its in the middle of nowhere. Only option to eat is an indian restaurant. You will need to book for a taxi if you dont have a car and taxi in southampton is expensive!! No soundproof as we were in the ground floor and I can hear the snoring of other guest in the other room. Nice gesture to have coffee, biscuits and water as complimentary.

Nice and clean, large bedroom, fridge in the room which is useful as no breakfast so you can bring your own. Walkable to a lovely pub, with home cooked food.

Quiet, clean and comfortable
Lovely clean comfortable room, very quiet small hotel. A little disappointed there was no bar/restaurant in the hotel itself but had a good meal/drinks at the Indian restaurant next door.

Good value for money.
Good value for money. Spacious, clean rooms. No restaurant but we could go to a room downstairs and take our own breakfast. Bowls and spoons supplied. Very nice pub, The Landford Poacher, about 250 yards away. Footpath to it by side of A36. Very handy for Paulton Park and Peppa Pig World.

Good place to stay for a for a few nights. I've been staying here quite a lot recently as i've been working in Salisbury. 25 min drive to Salisbury city center and lots of eating options within a 5 to 10 min drive of the Lodge. I also like that i can check in late as they have a key coded door and keys in a safe that they text you the details of on the day of arrival. I arrived at 1.30am the other week with no dramas. Excellent Curry house next door.

Very accommodating switched our room to ground floor when we explained our knees can't do stairs anymore. Stayed 2 nights. Lovely bed. Indian restaurant right next door very convenient. Quiet country independent hotel. Would definitely stay again.
