The staff was not accommodating and was rude. The hotel had signs saying that they were out of hot water and that there was no heat sorry for the inconvenience. I asked the staff if I could have a microwave since there was no heat and hot water. And rudely she says that does not come with your room. Not to mention that it was a cold night and raining.

Boiler wasn't working, and work was being performed on the property. Neither circumstance was advertised through Orbitz or the website. Luckily, our money was refunded so we could seek an alternate motel.

When we arrived noticed paper in window apologizing for ongoing construction. When checking in was told the boiler was not working. No hot water, no heat! 36F during the night. 40F inside. Not what we expected. Never even offered a rebate.

The room was dusty floors had dust and hairs on it. The bed was clean no noise which was good.. but the heater wasn’t working I turned it on and it was just blowing super cool air

I always come here for work and never have no problems, staff is great, rooms are clean nd everything works, truck parking is a must for me and they have plenty of it, and I’m a truck driver/military contractor and for my job it’s one of the most convenient places to stay in salinas, always do a great job here!

Definitely wasn’t the best say. They didn’t let us know there wasn’t much parking because of the construction. Bathroom permanently smelt of mold and the heater doesn’t work either. Door wasn’t sealed so there was a draft and the room just stayed cold. Pipes hanging out the walls in the shower as well. The main thing was the mold smell in the bathroom. Made it hard to sleep in the room but also couldn’t really use the bathroom without holding your breath. I used to stay there when in town but the quality has definitely went down. The guy checking me in when I got there was too busy looking up tattoos on his phone to pay attention really. Probably won’t be going back to this place.

Unfortunate stay
The gentleman at the front counter could care less about us when we walked in. Had to wait while he sat on his phone. The hand railings were wet with paint and no signs, so ended up with paint on our hands. There are not enough electrical outlets in the room. The room itself was clean. Will not be staying again.

Not ever staying here again. It was moldy smelling, the light did not work and after requesting it be changed it was not. There was a cockroach in the bathroom and it was a bad experience overall.

NO Coffee Maker in the room. Has to ask for free coffee in the lobby Sunday AM, totally out. Monday AM, had one cup then when I go back, no more coffee. Sign says "Free coffee from 6 AM-10 AM. Do not advertise if you can't make it happen. Friendly staff. Management needs improvement in providing amenities such as coffee maker, shampoo, microwave oven, and small refrigerator. Paid almost $400 for 2 days, not worth it.

Horrible Weekend!!
When we arrived the clerk at front desk was on his phone watching videos and took a while to realize I was there. Once we checked in, everything seemed okay. We went out for dinner and when we came back near the sink I noticed dry blood stains on the floor. I notified the clerk but didn’t seemed to care and did not offered to get me a new room or get someone to clean it. The following day as we were dressed for a wedding. There was a power wash crew cleaning the roof of the hotel, no signs no noticed of where to walk. We got sprayed with dirty water from the roof. Completely ruined my wife’s dress and my Son’s outfit. Once again the clerks at the front desk did not care and put blamed on us for parking “near office” even though that was the only available parking! Horrible weekend. This is the worst motel 6 in Salinas area. Never again.

Salinas Motel 6
Good stay. Clean, comfortable room. There was an elevator so that made it a lot easier on my bad knees. Felt safe.

There was nothing in the room to show what channels you had access to on the tv and no brochures on where anything was in town like others hotels only on the lobby. My card didn’t work twice and when I went to get a new one they kept questioning how long my stay was and when I’m checking out which made me nervous. Also the room was tiny and no coffee machine.

Horrible customer service. Check-in time was 3pm, but my room was not clean/ready until 1.5 hrs later. Room was not very clean, there were hairs everywhere, the mattress seemed really old and the room smelled like cheap bleach. Overall, it was a horrible experience; a total nightmare. Never going back to this place.

The vending machines (snacks & soda) were broken. The phone was non-functional as the wiring to the hand held portion would not stay connected. Music and BBQ's were happening every night in the parking area until 10pm. I would not recommend this hotel.

Worst room ever
Worst stay ever! Roaches, fridge did not work, microwave didnt work, deluxe room?? Not evn close. Then slept in a wet bed and tried to say we burned the bed and wet it??? I have proof and pictures. Don't ever go there!

Second time staying here but this time we ended up with the most ran down hotel room. The worst we’ve ever stayed in ever. The floor had cigarette burns, the bathtub was retaining water and the shower was constantly leaking. The ceiling you can tell was messed up at one point and they just try to patch things up. It was a really small room and I’ve stayed at a motel 6 before but this one looked like one of those random roach motels. The front desk person was some teenager dressed in some street clothes with heavy gold chains and fake Rolex. Asked for both mine and my husbands ID for some reason and when handed the door card key didn’t even say anything at all how to get to my room or even a thanks.
