The hotel reception was very efficient
The hotel does not have any views worth mentioning
The rooms were spacious but do need some updating
The food in the bar was average at best, I needed a replacement main course as the first offering was substandard
The hotel was really very good. It is in a rather dilapidated area of Manchester and OK for the city centre but not right in it. The fixtures, fittings etc were all of an excellent standard (the hotel is a year old) but the rooms were clearly furnished with a minimal amount of furniture - maybe when the budget allows this will change. The food was excellent but got put off the restaurant as it was completely empty. Again probably partly due to the age of the hotel and the location. This hotel has the potential to be outstanding.
Used this hotel as a 2 night stay to see a concert in the Manchester Arena. Great location - only 10 min walk to venue and City. Staff were polite and helpful and room was of a reasonable standard and very comfortable for the time spent in it.
"Fair was quiete and friendly and clean the rooms "
Well the air con was not cold enough and the windows could do with changing so you could open them more as it was far too warm for me, otherwise a pleasant stay with friendly staff and clean room maintained to high standard, a better menu wouldn't go amiss either with wider range of food too start with, you don't pay £12 pound for a Pitza or a beef burger and chips and nothing else with it, that's a rip off for a start, even abroad this is cheaper In European countries, more seating to front foyer, a garden to sit in with overhead canopies with pretty lights In case of showers. Paying over £60 a night without breakfast far too expensive based on this location away from city centre this could have been far more cheaper to stop at.
I was pleasantly surprised as I got this hotel at a bargain and the overall experience was good as I was concerned noise from below will be an issue but it wasn't.
B/fast was good also though be warned its close to the road and also has a pub beneath it. I only spent a night though and wonder about the experience of multiple-night stay
