Hotel Regio is always welcoming, all of the staff have the same attitude, the guest is there to be looked after. The facilities are good and over the years that I have stayed improvements are always being made.
One night only but we have been visiting this hotel for 10 years and always look forward to our visit. It is ideally placed for a bus trip into Salamanca. Staff are excellent
and friendly.
Lovely hotel with welcoming staff. Large comfortable bedrooms and beds. Great food served in restaurant. Regular bus service from hotel into Salamanca centre. We have stayed here several times and always enjoyed our stay.
Hotel Regio where you are welcomed as old friends.
We use this hotel for convenience due to its location and friendliness. The area is quiet but ideal for visiting the beautiful city of Salamanca. The bus stops at the hotel every hour and returns you.
The hotel is conveniently located outside Salamanca. It has two pools one of which is 50 metres. The poo,s are very clean. There is a lot of space around the pools to relax. The hotel has private parking, most of which is in the shade. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are large and very comfortable.
There is a bus stop right at the back of the hotel. It brings you straight to Salamanca.
Very nice hotel and reasonably priced. Didn't realise that it's usual for restaurants not to open until 8pm. Food was good.
DONT rely on Spanish postcodes. Always put in full address or you end up in the back streets of town.
Super Hotel this, we use it at least twice a year.
The staff are always very friendly, and all the rooms are capacious and comfortable. This latest visit though we had problems with the air conditioning being very noisy, ineffectual, and impossible to control. This will not stop us visiting again though

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Feeling left insane and belittled
Cannot understand how this hotel is rated 4*.
Food is certainly not what i woyld expect in a 4 or 5 star hotel. When i complained to the restuarant management i was given the same old European excuse of language barrier. I was adamant my complaint must be heard so I took the manager to the reception desk and suddenly he understood and simply brushed me off as if there is something wrong with my head. Seriously the food is poor.Rooms are good though. Decent size and clean. But the location is a tad far from the attractions.
Nice Hotel to break the journey although quite a way out from Salamanca itself.
The two pools were ideal for the grandkids to chill after the trip and gave them the opportunity to burn some energy off.
We only had one night, and picked out Hotel Regio because of a stay on the campsite many years ago, and knew the food to be good.
We were very pleased with our choice, lovely spacious Hotel, efficient friendly staff, comfortable beds, and very clean.
We hope to call again, and stay longer on our return from Portugal.
We stayed here for 2 nights whilst driving around Spain.Parking was good and free. We used the local bus that stopped right outside hotel to travel into the centre of Salamanca. It cost 1.40 Euros.
Breakfast was good and a 3 good course meal with wine for 2 cost 60 Euros.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were always polite and helpful.
The room they gave us was a disabled room which we did not ask for even though we had booked the room early and was at the back of the hotel, hence no view only roof tops.
This hotel is very good value for money. It is just outside Salamanca so well situated for visiting the city. The bus stops in the hotel car park. This is our 3rd stay and we have always been pleased with the experience.

FADED ROSE
Hotel was adequate but not an example of Spain's best offering. It was reasonably clean and comfortable but dated ,rather like a "movie queen" who is well past her prime.
Neighbor hood is o.k., with tapas reasonably close and the bus to the city center stops at the hotel.
Convenient through public transport. to the campin
Despite being a few kilometres out of Salamanca the local bus servive stops within the hotel grounds.A great service which avoids any car parking hassles in Salamanca. The Hotel has all the services needed & the cafe attached to the camping ground offers the best value beer in Salamanca.Enjoyable no hassle stay.
It was very quiet hardly anyone staying, but staff were friendly and helpful. Its a bit dated in places but the room was clean and comfortable. We had to get a taxi into Salamanca it was just a 5/10 minute ride to the centre plaza. The gym was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was superb, good value for money I would stay there again.
We Used the Hotel twice, once driving to and once driving back from the south west of Spain. This Hotel served us very well on both occasions. Bed Very comfortable, room quiet, free easy access wi fi. If we were going to be picky a drink making facility in the room would be nice, but don't let that small detail put you off.
Quiet location. Nothing in the immediate area. The bus into Salamanca leaves from inside the hotel parking lot, so that is perfect. It runs once per hour. My room was quite small, but comfortable. Breakfast very good. It was very difficult to find this hotel using a sat navi device because the hotel does not have a precise enough address and the navi coordinates on their website were either wrong or formatted in a way that made them impossible for me to use., I found it almost by accident, though it should not be so difficult as it is near a major exist off a major road. Once there, I was able to use the bus and everything went smoothly.
We used this Hotel for one night whe journeying from Yorkshire to Cadiz. It was surprisingly our favorite stay. We booked to include breakfast which was superb. The room was comfortable, well darkened, and quiet. The fact that this complex is so vast made our experience a real surprise, we expected uniformity, yet got a real personal touch
A comfortable, good quality hotel about 10 minutes drive from the centre of Salamanca. A taxi will cost you about 15 Euros. You can take the number 20 bus instead, it takes about 40 minutes and drops you off in the hotel car park. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. There is also a neighbouring campsite.
