"we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area"

"Beautiful house on a corner terrace, photos were accurate the property was very well equipped. The availability of the garage was useful for our bikes and roof box. The local town had a daily market selling amazing produce, the local bakery was also amazing along with an ice cream parlour which made fabulous waffles. The nearby sandy beach was within walking distance and had a nice bar. It was easy to hire a bike and use the many bike paths to visit other towns on the island. We would definitely...

The villa was spacious, clean, well stocked with all the necessary utensils crockery and appliances you need. The layout of the rooms was great for us giving everyone thier own space and our kids really enjoyed the pool. Anne, who let us in and solved a minor problem with electrics, was very friendly and helpful. The house, brilliantly equipped for comfort and preparing large family meals. Everything we needed. We hired bikes from CycloSurf a minute walk away. Great service. Boulangerie, bar, supermarket all in walking distance. No car required!!!...
