We stayed for one night en route home and it was a comfortable stay. The room was a little dark but the bed was comfortable although the shower room was cold. Breakfast was a basket of bread and one croissant each with home made preserves which was delicious but the fresh orange juice, charcuterie and goat's cheese was served to us by the owner and although he did say we could have more it would have been better if there was a plate with more than half a slice each on it. We didn't want to make our lunch from the breakfast but maybe that has happened before so hence the portion control. After we had left I realised we weren't offered cereals or fresh fruit which I think were mentioned on the website.
Pros: Very comfortable bed
Cons: A little more freedom at breakfast and maybe a fan heater for the shower room
Location: Easily found the Lodge but didn't stay to look around the next day as it was raining.
