The setting of the house is lovely, quiet and the outdoor space is very nice. We had no communication from the property which was very stressful, despite calling and emailing two weeks before travelling. With no idea how to check in we were left sitting in our cars outside calling random phone numbers to try to figure out how to get in to the property. We had a garage but weren’t able to use it as we never were informed where the key was. Once in the property, we had no idea what to do with rubbish or how to open the pool cover (all of which could have been easily placed in a folder for guests to review on arrival). The pool was great and the little terrace too, aside from being eaten alive by mosquitos. The bathrooms seemed to have plumbing issues which have off a strong smell of sewage/waste. A final note is that there were no basics like salt, pepper or oil in the kitchen. Annoying to have to buy. Guests also are given two rolls of toilet paper for free and have to purchase their own for the remainder of the trip. All in all, a nice but not brilliant experience.
