Weekday stay on ground floor. Only drawback is hall noise (people walking in the hall or closing doors) starting at 6AM. If you are getting up early, not an issue but if you were planning to get up later, could be an issue.
Reasonably priced breakfast buffet.
The staff were excellent from the bell hops to the front desk staff, as well as the concierge.
We were there during the Quebec Carnivale and they provided much needed information for first timers!
Would love to stay there again except in the summer months to enjoy what appear to be beautiful outdoor grounds.
We stayed at this hotel at a reduce rate of 69.00 for a standard room ,beds were very firm but in consideration of rate and staff and ammenities where all excellent also parking was included, .Very satisfied overall .
I stayed at the Aristocrat with my family of 4 over the New Year for 3 days and enjoyed it. The staff was very good and very nice. We only had breakfast at the hotel as their restaurant was sold out for the other meals, but thought it was very good. Our rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our beds were very confortable, so we had no problem to sleep. I would certainly consider it when I retunr to Québec City. The Wireless internet worked very well toos.
I enjoyed the location since it was close to the people I was visiting and also to the shopping center, where I could get food and other things. The liquor store - very posh! - close by was also a plus. We got the bigger room for our second stay, and it was really worth the extra 40$ a night. I like the mini bar in the lobby which left the fridge in the room empty. Nice decor and each room is different and nice. On our second stay, we also had a great view of the Laurentide mountains. I would however add a DVD player.
Quebec City’s Sainte-Foy-Sillery neighborhood is accessible from the south shore via the Québec and Pierre-Laporte bridges. It is home to Université Laval, the first French-speaking university in America, and Parc Aquarium du Quebec. Shoppers flock to Laurier Québec shopping centre, offering over 300 boutiques and restaurants.
