The hotel itself was great and the service/breakfast was excellent and the staff, charming, but there was NO AIR-CONDITIONING...for this level of luxury and in 95 degree weather this is unacceptable. Also, the hotel was easily accessible by car from the city center (about a 10 min drive), but in an absolutely remote and isolated area that would never be accessible by foot or public transportation -- I would even be too afraid to walk there alone at night - you're just surrounded by cow pastures in a dark and winding country road - were it not for the gps in our car, we would have been completely LOST.
Also, there are no restaurants or other options for food near the hotel, unless you get in your car and drive into town -- and there is a notice that you are not allowed to eat or drink in the room (which is ridiculous) - and there is no ice machine.
The room was also a bit small for my taste...but if you're looking for a romantic getaway where you expect to spend most of your stay in extremely close quarters with someone and with little to no clothes on, then by all means stay here...
Not the ideal stay for traveling with a newborn baby - but it was our fault for not researching our options more.
