It is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is excellent. Bathrooms are good, though the toilet on the main floor is oddly in the kitchen rather than in the ensuite where the shower is. We had to buy toilet paper. The second bedroom and ensuite are up a slightly precarious flight of stairs. The flat overlooks the Main Street so could be noisy with the windows open, but no problem with them closed. That said the location is outstanding. Lots of shops and restaurants steps away. There are 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment and no lift.The reservation and website said checkin was at 3PM but we were told the apartment was not available until 5\. This was later revised to 4\. Parking is about 2 blocks away at the port and is very expensive. 35Eur per day. The only real negative was that the wood plank floor is water damaged and badly heaved in the middle. It was like a hill you had to go up and sank about 3 inches with each step. Ridiculous, really, to rent it in such a state. It should be fixed before it is rented. Or at least a partial refund offered. ##### Steven B. Originally booked a 3pm check-in via Expedia, but when the booking transferred to Welkeys, they informed me we cannot have access until 5pm?????! Unit was not fully fit for rental - the floor towards the kitchen area had suffered water damage and had not been repaired, so it was warped and squishy/noisy. Dishwasher was non-functional (damaged). Upstairs bathroom toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. I would suggest they defer rentals for a couple of days and get these issues fixed - not acceptable for the amount charged.
