Liked: Very convenient location a few steps from the subway. Lots of bars and clubs around. Disliked: Noise at night, but that's not a big problem. Very poor Wi-Fi and your own mobile connection is jammed. Shower room without separate cubicles and curtains.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The best thing about it is the location. It’s the perfect location if you’re staying in the Reeperbahn and it’s right next to the train stop. I would stay here again.

Give yourself a favor and don't sleep there
So noisy we couldn't sleep an hour... We hates ourselves for booking this place just because it was slightly cheaper than other hotels in the neighborhood. Terrible choice.

Hotel is ok, but in summer room is like a sauna
The hotel is overall just ok. The main issues are the noise and excessive heat in summer. The room not only doesn't have a fan or AC (which I knew) but seems to be built to keep heat inside. It therefore was often hotter in the room than outside. In order to prevent complete heat exhaustion, you must keep the windows open. It is a bit noisy however. Otherwise it might be better to stay there during the colder months. I suggest the hotel make some efforts to install fans at a minimum, or AC if they can.

The room was clean and in a good location. The issues for me was that it was a 4 floor walkup and we had the 4th floor, also there was no air conditioning or even a fan to circulate the air. For the price it should have had these basics

Very bad experience our two luggages were stolen.
We had a very bad experience visiting from the United States, our luggages were stolen in that hotel. The receptionist accepted to keep our luggages and later stole them.The case is pending with the Hamburg police.

Check in a breeze, staff attitude proactive. Property is good, but ABSOLUTELY NOT a 3 star hotel. It DOES NOT have: 24hrs reception/security, restaurant, bar, not even VENDING machines. No telephone in rooms, no coffee maker, basically no hall or communal spaces except for an annoying and smelly smoking balcony. As a 2 star is excellent, as a 3 star is a rip off.

The hotel is centrally located, right next to Reeperbahn, in the heart of the red light district. Easy access by S-Bahn to the rest of the city, within walking distance of the docks if you like a long walk into the centre of town. The room was nice, mostly quiet for such a central area, fairly well maintained. The reception was manned by helpful and friendly staff. My one issue was that the shower door didn't close at all, it was stuck half way open. I reported this on the Saturday and it wasn't fixed when I left on Monday, so I had to use copious amounts of towels and try not to flood the room. Good standard hotel, in a great location, with friendly and helpful staff.

Great location for energetic groups
Clean, comfortable beds and great service. We were a group of 6 on a stag weekend, location was perfect for us. Would advise you don’t stay here if you need a lift, don’t like loud music until 4am or don’t want to stay in the red light district.

Perfect Location
PERFECT location, very easy to travel to and from the airport, via S1. A one minute walk from the hotel to the train. My room had a nice view but there was no elevator and I have a bad knee so climbing up and down from the 4th floor was a bit uncomfortable for me. However, for the price this is very well worth it :)

Short Business Trip to Hamburg.
Room was good and perfect for a single occupancy. The service staff was also quite polite and assisted me with express checkin. The only small problem is the locality besides and in the vicinity of the hotel, however the windows of the rooms are enough sound proof to avoid the roadside and public noises since the are in the vicinity is a kind of party place and you cannot stop anyone from doing it. Value for Money hotel. Since the hotel building is quite old, it is better if you ask a room on the 1st Floor (I did so) or else you will end up climbing the stairs until the fourth floor and having a good exercise and incase if you have carrying heavy baggage, then you need to be a regular gym goer. Overall rating from my side would be 4 out of 5.

Nice place at a good price, but don't expect a lot
Decent hotel. Clean, secure. Nice location, close to Reeperbahm. For the price, definitely worth it. Great for single traveler, or student. But, I would not say it would be a good place for a romantic or a family trip.
