What a perfect hotel!! Amazing location- close to the centre of Saint Martin. But so quiet and peaceful! Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They knew us by name on arrival. The hotel is old and beautiful. Thoroughly recommend and will return without a doubt!

Perfect place to stay
Super hotel, great location (one minute from the quayside where all the action is), beautiful buildings, spa, garden. Comfy bed and decent shower. Lovely helpful staff

Great Location and character
Great location. Excellent service. Considering the price per night, parking and breakfast were extra. The breakfast was adequate at best if you like cooked breakfast. The scrambled eggs overcooked. Boiled eggs were DIY and in liquid form as the water bath wasn’t up to temp. There was no room air conditioning which could be an issue I hot weather. On the plus side the staff are excellent. There was a very warm reception on arrival. They made me an Old Fashioned which wasn’t on their list and, like St Martin de Re in general, the hotel oozes old world charm and character.

Not charming ... needs updating
Very musty and damp smell on entering the room. Bathroom had rotting wooden panels. Quite horrible. Very basic toiletries. Water / coffee also very basic and not replaced daily. Our room on ground floor was noisy every morning at breakfast time. When we came back one day the windows had been left opened presumably by housekeeping but as e were on ground floor this was not safe and I eas very annoyed. Overall very disappointing and not 4 star.

Beautiful property but ...
It's a beautiful property that was lovingly restored, well located close to the center but no sea views. We paid for the upgraded comfort room located on the ground floor. As there is no air conditioning, open windows are a must. However, everyone walks by and looks into the room so you must have the curtains pulled. The room is also just off the dining room and adjacent to the concierge so the luggage trolley bounces along in early morning waking you if you are not already awakened by staff setting up service just outside the window for breakfast or the early eaters. There was also a musky smell when the windows weren't open. That being said, the grounds are pretty and the bar and staff attentive, and late in our stay we discovered the second garden off the bar.

Super séjour à l’île de re
Super hôtel historique situé à saint Martin en Re Le SPA est très reposant et le jardin très bien entretenu L’hôtel est bien placé (central au sein de l’île de re) Hôtel familial avec un super service et le confort moderne dans un très beau bâtiment historique Nous reviendrons

A very elegant historic property with brilliant staff in a superb location. It was a wonderful stay. I searched for what I thought would be the best hotel on the island and I wasn’t disappointed. Magnificent!

Superb hotel in centre of town and amazing staff
Hotel is a great character packed building moments from the harbour in a quiet street. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and Joachim gave us some great local tips fo what to do and where to eat. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and definitely upgrade to one of the superior rooms as worth that little bit extra.

Old glory, luxurious accommodations.
La Baronnie is a jewel hotel beautifully complimenting one's stay in the charming St. Martin de Re. An oasis of peace and relaxation. Beautiful gardens, attentive staff. The hotel has also an esthetician on site who can help choose creams of the Cinq Mondes line. We loved our every single moment spent there!

A hotel with flair, history and a great location
The hotel is just a few hundred metres from all the action in St Martin, yet also offers a quiet sanctuary in the gardens behind its walls. The staff were all most welcoming and as attentive as we required. All of this with a unique sense of history included.

Chambre pavillonaire tres jolie mais petite avec le bébé et lit bébé. Salle de bain immense, pas de baignoire mais douche aux normes PMR. Pensez à demander le cocktail du Barman, excellent ! Parking sur place payant - recharge véhicule payant - lit bébé payant... dommage au tarif de la chambre cela devrait être inclus. Ou bien augmentez vos tarifs et incluez les services, c'est désagréable de devoir passer à la caisse pour tout. Pas de service de restauration mais tellement bien placé à 100m du port donc aucun souci. Personnel tres accueillant.

Séjour très agréable .si vous aimez les ambiances style petit patios marocains ne Pas hésitez à prendre un petit pavillon dans le jardin . Évitez comme beaucoup d’hôtel les extras ( toujours très chers :) petit déjeuner excellent et personnel accueillant . Calme très beau jardin super situé en plein cœur de ville . Pour ceux qui n’aime que la plage à éviter .

Très belle établissement, idéalement placé. Le pavillon jardin est très beau et le sauna/Spa agréable. Les hic, sont les propriétaires. En effet nous sommes venu avec notre chien (accords d'établissements en avance) pour un weekend. Nous avons eu le droit à plusieurs rappels (sans raison) que s’était exceptionnels, qu'il fallait sortir notre chien pour faire ses besoins (comme si on était des crados) rajoutez à ça un ton condescendant de la part des responsables, on se demandait si nous étions les clients d'un hôtel 4* (avec le respect qu'il se doit au client qui de plus paye plus de 300€ la nuit "service inclus"). PS : L’accueil du chien était payant (20€/nuit)

Concernant votre chien et des réactions que vous avez jugé excessives, nous nous permettons de vous rappeler que notre établissement est à l’origine interdit aux animaux. Néanmoins et les aimant nous aussi, nous n’hésitons pas à accepter des clients tenant à venir accompagnés de leur compagnon à quatre pattes, nous assurant toutefois qu’ils soient tenus en laisse et en aucun cas lâchés dans les jardins pour faire leurs petits et gros besoins. Nous avons donc aimablement accédé à votre demande mais votre commentaire va nous faire revoir notre souplesse. Dommage pour les amis des bêtes respectueux de l’environnement ! Cordialement,

Très bonne adresse pour couples et famille
Hôtel au charme indéniable qui bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal. Les chambres pour les familles sont vraiment adaptées. Il n'y a pas de restaurant, les pdj se prennent dans une salle bien décorée qui propose un buffet complet. L'hôtel se trouve dans deux bâtiments qui communiquent par un passage discret. Les gérants/propriétaires sont adorables et ne manquent pas une question de vous glissés quelques informations intéressantes sur l'hôtel, son origine mais aussi sur les restaurants à fréquenter et surtout ceux à éviter.

Aspectos a mejorar
Todo perfecto. El único inconveniente ha sido que el baño está incorporado a la habitación, pero abierto por arriba, sin techo, y con las paredes tipo persiana de madera. Muy poca privacidad y bastantes molestias.
