My biggest fear staying in December was the cold- but when we arrived Andoni had already lit the pot belly stove and the whole house was toasty warm. Our clothes dried easily too. The house was perfect for our family of five. The location was excellent for exploring the Basque Country. My husband and I walked to Sare each morning for coffee (40 mins). The view from the house was lovely. There is a coffee maker, minifridge and an individual air conditioning unit that makes any heat wave bearable. There is ample closet space and the bathroom modern with attractive lighting. If you want to eat in, there is a communal microwave and one-pot meals available to heat up. The wi fi works great. It is a pet-friendly place: several dogs were there, including those of the owners. The only possible minus is that there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Excellent value."
