Centrally located hotel but disappointing service

Posted 23-Jul-2017
Pros: Rooftop bar had an excellent view of Paris.
Cons: Service and cleanliness
Location: Location was excellent. Right across from Notre Dame with numerous restaurants to choose from. Walking distance to many attractions. Close to Metro.
Very centrally located hotel, however the quality of the room is lacking. The room was booked as an `'executive room" and i was expecting a bit more in terms of size and quality for the room rate. The bathroom was very small and had a glass window in the bathroom looking into the sleeping area. There is a pull down shade for some privacy, but we found this a bit of an odd addition to a hotel room. If you forgot to pull down the shade, there was no privacy when going to the bathroom or showering. There was also no North American plugs in the room and the hotel did not have any adapters for North American appliances. Most of the better hotels that i've stayed at in Europe have had either dual plugs or Guest Services would loan you a converter. In addition the servicing of the room was terrible. We left most days by 8:00am and were not back until 6:00pm. 3 out of the 5 days we had to call for servicing at 6:00pm. The servicing was not very good as you could still see that the tub had not been properly cleaned.

Great hotel close to Notre Dame

Posted 09-Jul-2017
We are very pleased with our experience at this hotel. It was just what we were looking for, and exactly as described online. Very clean and comfortable, within a few minutes walking distance to many of the major sites in Paris. Located in a quiet, cute little tree lined square with several cafes, a small grocery store and a pharmacy nearby. The view from the rooftop was fantastic and accessible 24hrs a day. Staff was kind and helpful, and all spoke English perfectly. Would stay there again and recommend to others. Thanks!

Wonderful hotel right in the middle of everything!

Posted 04-Jul-2017
Pros: Everything is good, location, staff, you name it.
Cons: Rooms could use a little updating but that is a minor issue. The rooms are small but, Cest La Paris! Most rooms in the city are very small.
Location: Norte Dame is three blocks away, wonderful food in Latin Quarter two blocks away, Luxembourg Palace is 5-6 blocks away.
The hotel is well kept and staff is very good. The view from the rooftop patio / bar is one of the best in Paris. Metro is only 1 block away and very close to major attractions but, situated on a quiet side street.

Great hotel walking distance of left bank

Posted 24-May-2017
Pros: There is a small bar on the roof with fabulous views of Paris
Cons: The only thing my wife and I talked about that could be improved was the lack of a rubber bath mat for the shower. This is a safety issue.
Location: Lots of shopping, dining especially crepes, the left bank, Notre Dame Cathedral, hop on, hop off bus, small streets without cars
Many small streets with lots of mom and pop shops and restaurants. The choice of establishment was great for us but the pressure on them was enormous. I don't understand how they can all make money but the quality of food and the ambiance of all we chose was top notch. This was our first visit and the only negative we had was that we couldn't stay longer.

Perfect location, close to everything.

Posted 12-May-2017
Pros: The location is ideal and it is reasonably priced.
Cons: This hotel is very clean and functional although the rooms are small. To change anything would mean an increase in the price.
Location: Everything is nearby. Louvre, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, St.Germain, Seine. Great restaurants and cafes. The metro is right there
This is a nice clean hotel and the price is just right. The location is ideal. Walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, shopping on St. Germain and wonderful restaurants and cafes. There is also easy access to the Metro and the tour bus stop is nearby. This hotel is not the Parisian experience you might get from some of the more expensive hotels but the roof top bar has panoramic views of the city that are priceless!

Location is the only good thing.

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Pros: Staff, dated hotel.
Cons: Coustomer service
Location: Location was the best thing.
Had really bad experience at this hotel. The staff did not seem to care that our room had a water leak and smelled as such. Simply put I would not stay here or would recommend this hotel.
