"Great house with 2 master bedrooms and a loft. We were able to sleep 7 adults comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and had extras; spices, oil, etc. I also appreciate the extra TP and paper towels. Often they give you one roll and that doesn’t last. The deck is amazing but we couldn’t use as it was raining."
"Very comfortable. We especially liked the screen porch, listening to the river and surrounded by trees. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Appreciated the AC on the 90 deg days. Courtney was a responsible and communicative host."
Mckenzie River Cabin #13 at the Log Cabin Inn, screened porch, .5mi Trailhead
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was in a wonderful location on the McKenzie River. It was very attractive and exceptionally clean, appearing almost new. We really enjoyed our stay. There were a few functional issues:1. It was very difficult to open the door when we arrived. We had to lift the door up by the knob to access the cabin. 2. The cabin would benefit from some place to unload clothes and food such as a small dresser in the bedrooms and one open cupboard in the kitchen.3. For some reason, the smoke alarm in the upstairs bedroom went off in the middle of the night of our second night in the cabin. First at 12:10 AM and then again at 1:15 AM. While there was no indication of smoke, it was difficult to stop the alarm. That was not pleasant."
"UpRiver Nest" - Cabin on the Mckenzie River in Oregon
8/10 Good
"Clean and cozy cabin next with soothing river sounds when the windows are open. Great location for McKenzie river exploring and activities. The cabin is close to the highway. Later in the day the traffic dissipates. The fire pit location is outstanding. A trail on the property leads to the rivers edge. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. We would stay here again."
"Wonderful property right on the river Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking. Grill worked fabulous. Everything was in great working condition and very clean. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to come again."
