5 Star guest recovery!!!!

We arrived to a friendly greeting after checking in we went to our room to find a dnd on the door tried to open got flashing red light tried again the same. So l went to the desk I said to the girl that checked us in that either our keys were not working or there was someone already in the room she checked the room. Then said everything shows the room vacant. Then she said l want this checked. The manager on duty came out checked the keys said they were ok she me to stay twhile she checked it out. I said no problem she went up met my wife waiting up their was very friendly and apologetic for the issues. She checked the keys and then knocked on the door when a lady with a child opened the door. She found out that their family had been moved there earlier because an issue with their room which they had booked for two weeks. The manager told my wife she would get us into another room in the same area. She come down , was very apologetic moved us just down the hall, then she was going to get us free breakfasts for our stay also a free nights stay . Because we were going to meet a high school friend elsewhere l said could we use one certs for lunch she gave us a cert for lunch or dinner and ond for breakfast. This team working this evening had great guest recovery skills. I work for one of the premier hotel / casinos on the strip in vegas l have to say bar none this team was top notch. We will be back and we will stay at the Midland Holiday Inn hotel again.
