They also had the best breakfast spread we had our whole trip, and it was included with the room. The shuttle to the airport was also free and very helpful. The property is stunning and lures you in from the moment you pull into the drive with vines and architecture surrounding you. Enter thru a beautiful entry with a winding red carpet stairway that leads you to an enchanting room of old world charm and luxury. I wanted to drink coffee all day and read a book in this room. In fact every common area you wanted to spend time in like it was a hope of a royal family. We then entered our room! I was so very pleased and excited...I felt like royalty. So clean, very elegant and a view! The windows are adorned with beautiful curtains and wooded shutters to block the light from the windows that open out to the view of lake and courtyard of the city! This is worth every dime you spend to stay."

We felt like we were bothering the staff although all we wanted was a couple of bowls of soup."
