Dear Guest, I believe that my team is made up of very kind and generous folks, and they are all very understanding and respectful to the transient unhoused population as they occasionally come in to purchase items from our marketplace. While I can't change the way you felt in the moment, I did want to provide context from having spoken to our team member, and can assure you that aside from doing proper intake of what is required during our check-in process such as verifying identification to a matching credit card- that is all she was doing. Having spoken to her about your registration process- she embarrassingly mentioned her bifocals and that the light above the front desk is sometimes a bit bright- and was apologetic and rather confused that this resulted in an unpleasant experience for you. Additionally, we do not offer complimentary water upon check-in- though we have a water station available 24-hours on our second floor atrium.

Depending on hours needed, Crepeville, Capitol Garage, Soul Cafe, or just a quick bite at Starbucks are all relatively nearby options. Cafeteria 15L on Saturday & Sunday opens at 9am, but not until 11:30am Mon-Wed.
