Nice and quiet

This Hyatt is on campus and a little away from the down town area. We enjoyed our stay.

It's okay. Only they put us in disabled room. Don't like it.

Fancy yet very inviting.

Pros: Big room with couches and office area and a big flat screen tv. Also very nice and quiet. Makes for a very relaxing getaway.
Cons: Bed was not the most comfy, but did the job. Some power outlets intermittently did not work.
Location: Nice walk down putah creek area. Lots of shopping and bars nearby as well.

Good spot for campus activities

Posted 24-Oct-2016
Pros: Room was huge and clean. Easy parking. Walking distance to anything on campus and downtown.
Cons: Bed softer than I prefer. Nightly charge for parking. Obscenely loud air conditioner in the room made for a dreadful nights sleep. Every time I've s

Basic accommodations with courteous staff

Posted 13-Sep-2016
Pros: Close enough to where I needed to be. Nice reception area space.. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Be timely with breakfast, and a jaccuzi would be nice.
Location: On UC Davis campus, close to town.
Our party was 3 people/2 rooms. Drove from So CA for Bee Lab event. Basic quiet accommodations with courteous staff. Staff helpful, cheerful and knowledgable about the area. The men cleaning the rugs on 2nd floor on 10/9/16 were extremely nice, kind, stopped to help us maneuver our suitcases around, through and over all the cords and tubing and to our rooms. Really nice staff. Good assortment of breakfast items to choose from, only hot food was not ready at stated opening time, and 30 min late on the day we left. Off their 24/7 menu, hamburger was tasteless but their flat breads pizzas made up for it. Beautiful Davis scenery, great location for nature walks or biking.

Davis

We enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Place. Convenient and clean. Nice to be so close to campus while setting daughter up in her apartment. The one surprise $20 parking fee per night. We were there Saturday night.....and I thought parking was free on campus on weekends. May check next time because if that is the case can park in a campus lot and save $20.

great place to stay

We arrived for a wedding and decided to stay here instead of the hotel that was suggested by the wedding party. We are happy we did. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable and clean. the staff was very friendly (I mean everyone wearing a Hyatt uniform said hello, good morning, have a nice day, etc.). We were given a few incidentals that were forgotten.

Everything was great! The only issue that we had was that the pool was closed due to maintenance working to bring the ph back up to where it was supposed to be. Davis is a cute little town, with lots of College kids and lots of Bar/Food joints to eat at.

More expensive, less service.

It was my third stay at Hyatt Place Davis. I enjoyed the 2 stays back in 2015 very much, the hotel had free bicycles to ride around Davis. Unfortunately, they cancelled this program, if you want a bike you have to rent it at a Davis bike store. Another minus is the parking fee of $12/night... that was all included when I stayed there before. They're just getting more expensive.
