Great location, big rooms

Posted 31-Jan-2016
Cons: Free parking
Pros: Great location, nice sized rooms with sitting areas, nice showers and towels. Cons: Breakfast needs fresh fruit, you will pay $10 for parking a night, which used to be free, and don't stay in room 212, it is dark because your window faces the wall of the building which holds the hotel's heating equipment and runs 24/7 and is loud all the time. Worst room I've ever had and was there 3 nights.

Would definitely stay here again.!

Very clean, well-appointed room with comfy bed and large sofa. Very warm and helpful staff. Only downside was the water took awhile to heat up in the shower and the restaurant service was limited, especially vegetarian options. But the free breakfast had good variety of offerings. Would definitely stay here again.

UC Davis lecture attendance

Posted 16-Jan-2016
Pros: Room was large, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included and buffet had plenty of choices! Food was delicious.
Cons: Ask for a room in the back if you don't want to be woken up by commuter trains! Bathroom vanity same area as beds, so first one up turns lights on!
Location: Right on campus. Only 25 miles to Sacramento, recommend the Crocker Art Museum, Sutter Fort. Great restaurants in Davis!
We stayed here because son was speaking at UC Davis, and he is living abroad, so took opportunity to meet here! This hotel was chosen to meet his needs, but also easy for us to go into Sacramento and be tourists. A great variety of restaurants nearby, as well as shops and movie theaters. We stayed three nights and were very comfortable. Very easy to get back to San Francisco to catch our flight home.

Not a real Hyatt

Posted 15-Jan-2016
No restaurant or bar and the TV's don't get HD, so shows look like crap. This place is new and pretty nice, but basically a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn experience... Except they pay for the HD cable service & this place doesn't. Kind of a joke to call it a Hyatt. Will stay downtown next time.

UC Davis

This is a 21st century hotel! Easily find outlets to power electronic devices. Wireless works easily and works well. the bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet. My husband and I slept very well. I loved the layout of the room! The breakfast was delicious. Loved this place!

Convenient, comfy and reasonable

Posted 18-Dec-2015
Pros: Comfort, room cleanliness and reasonable cost
Cons: The sink drained slowly, but is something they'll easily service.
Location: We made two trips to Sacramento, a convenient 12 mile drive. We visited the Capitol, Old Town, and the Railroad Museum.
We stayed for four nights. Excellent breakfast buffet with a nice choice of healthy foods.
