He was there when I arrived and assured me I can call him for any issues. My problem was the location (I should have paid more attention to the listing) and the noise level of guests in the other apartments. I could hear exactly what the neighbors were watching well past 10:00 at night. Also, people were in and out the front door all night and you could hear it every time. So loud I got little sleep. Communication was prompt and clear. We loved having a full kitchen available. We heard muffled noise from other apartments but nothing out of the ordinary and it certainly didn’t interrupt our sleep. We are not used to road noise, maybe this was in the normal realm for a city apartment also.The mattress was very firm, even for my husband who likes a firm mattress. The 1,500 security deposit (refundable) seemed excessive for a 3-night stay in a small Vrbo. It felt like an attempt to push customers into purchasing the non-refundable protection plan.
