Wow never have i ever
It was terrible. The curtains wouldnt close all the way. As soon as i walked in the dorty sheets from before were the first thing i saw and of course they were sitting on the supposed to be clean ones. It was horrific.

I spoke with the management about bugs and the rusty microwave to no avail. Nothing was done about it and told nothing COULD be done about it. Would not stay here again unless absolutely desperate.

Stay away from this EconoLodge and you'll be happy
We were given an upstairs room - two senior citizens - when a multitude of rooms on the first floor were available. I know this because in the morning, I walked to the office for breakfast and every room that had the window open was a 2-bed room that had not been slept in. The first room had no working TV. The man tried to fix it, but couldn't make it work. The man gave us a second room on the same floor that had no air-conditioning. The thermostat knob just spun around and around. The third room had a working TV and a barely working air-conditioner. The room was not cool as expected after we came back from dinner - about an hour. The third room had broken fixtures. No towel bars. The towels in the bathroom shower area were just laying atop the toilet. Artwork was missing, judging from the holes in the wall. The breakfast provided by the motel was severely anemic. It had some pastries - each had an expiration date in April 2023, while our stay was in August 2023. NO KIDDING. It had some cereal - the dispensers were over half-empty, and judging from the pastries, that cereal was probably as old. The refrigerator had an old, opened gallon jug of milk - about a quarter full. No waffle maker. No refrigerated sausage biscuits to heat up in a microwave. I think Hotels.com should refund my money since it wasn't anything nearly as inviting and accommodating as it was described on the website.

Avoid this hotel. A tent would be better. Saw rooms missing smoke detectors, GFCI outlets improperly installed, and very filthy. Our room did not have a working shower. I took numerous pictures so the FD can see as well as the Corporate management, if they even care. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!

At 1st room smelled like mildew near the headboard area. Rundown furniture, old upholster chair that had better days w/stains. Bed spread was terribly wrinkled and sheets & pillow cases looked dingy, luckily for us we had a blanket and 2 pillows of our own and were able to sleep on top of them. When we’re getting ready to check out we notice Ants inside our room near the desk/table😡 We been traveling for 11 days from California though the East side of Texas, we’ve been staying in several places from this App, we can’t understand how this properly was rated over 7.00 it’s more like a 4.

Smoke detector was on the dresser beepinh. There was a 5 inch hole in the matress. Tv did not work. Demanded to change to a new room. In the new room the toilet ran until I fixed it. Curtain screwed to the wall so it.would.stay closed. Flooring buckeled. This place needs.to be condemned. The.reservation was non cancel. Expedia needs to remove this property.

THE ROOM THEY GAVE ME WAS HORRIBLE, THE SMELL OF THE RECEPTION WAS FRIGHTENING CIGARETTE OR SOMETHING STRONG LIKE TOBACCO, THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT NUTRITIOUS ONLY SWEETS AND WAXES, THE BEDS HAD BROKEN SHEETS AND EVERYTHING WAS IN VERY BAD CONDITION IT DID NOT HAVE A FIRE ALARM IT DID NOT WORK IT WAS NOT CONNECTED, THE TOILET WAS LEAKING AND THE SHOWER THE CURTAIN WAS BROKEN AND EVERYTHING WAS VERY BAD I DO NOT LIKE IT IF I RECOMMEND IT IF YOU GO WITH FAMILY ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN IS A VERY UGLY PLACE.

The worst ever.
Broken window, toilet seat was old and not comfortable. Only 1 of 3 ice machines worked. No coffee pot and no coffee before 7am. Dirty laundry room.

The good room!
I was told I was being put in one of the good rooms. I would hate to see the others. Unit was very old, bugs on bed and in tub. I assume because the floor was updated with the fake would floors it is considered a good room. Very old and outdated fixtures. Rusted toilet holder hanging out the wall. Shower fixtures rusted and broken. Definitely a one night stay and only because nothing else was available.

I specifically picked this hotel for the pool and the continental breakfast. The pool needed to be cleaned and had a film covering the top. No continental breakfast was offered. The person behind the counter said he could not get anyone to work. He claimed to be part owner. Sign said no breakfast due to Covid yet they advertise continental breakfast. No Hiring Sign was visible. I had bugs and spiders in my room. The room however was clean. No coffee pot in the room.

Not for non smokers!
I didn’t realize that all of the rooms were smoking. I’m a non smoker, so the smell was horrible. The bedding had cigarette burns in it and smelled awful. I felt like I was rolling in an ashtray. The facets were not attached to the sink. Toilet paper holder was not attached in the wall. Some of the lights didn’t work. I only found 1 roach, but my family were in the next room and said there were several in theirs. I just felt dirty when I left.

The room was dirty with hair all on the floor. Towels were dirty. Holes in the walls. The AC did not have any stickers to indicate which way to turn on off, cold warm , just knobs.

The room was terrible it was filthy had spiders , cockroaches . Also had holes on wall . And one bed smelled like urine . Even as we tried to tell management to change room he refused . I would recommend you guys to pay extra and stay at super 8 or any other motel .

BAD property to stay at..
Not the greatest place to stay, was there for 6 days and was lied to about a ground level room being available, there were 3 rooms available on ground level.. maid service sucked, barely cleaned the floor, and never left enough bath towels, washcloths or hand towels.. will NEVER stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!! my advice, Stay somewhere else... Super 8 looked great.

But unfortunately due to covid and limited housekeeping staff, they have limitations on how much work can be done during a day and can't clean while guest are in a room due to their own safety also. EconoLodge in Jasper, TX was NOT the great experience that I have had at other hotels, there rating for me is not good, floors never clean, never enough towels, washcloths, they wounld put us on the ground level when they had vacancies. WILL NOT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Nice hotel in convenient location
Staff was friendly and helpful. No waiting to check in. Very nice restaurant and bar on premises, good sized room. Breakfast bar was closed due to pandemic but food and free morning coffee were available. Suggest to announce pool is closed. It was also due to pandemic, but disappointed to be surprised by it.

“Sucks for You”
Check in was cold and transactional. Room was clean, but majority of amenities advertised were not offered. Commode was unsecured and forced us to balance while using. Shower head was so clogged it was almost unusable. Door did not have the peephole installed while allowed insect inside. Bed was sunken and squeaky. Property was undergoing renovations that were NOT advertised and the fumes from paint thinner and other chemicals filled the area. Mini fridge was loud enough to serve as an alarm clock each time it cycled throughout the night. The actual digital clock was smashed and left on the night stand for us to “use”. No breakfast nor coffee offered due to COVID, but no options offered, such as a brown bag breakfast of packaged muffin or juice box. Just a turn and burn, take your money and “sucks for you” type motel.
