5/5 Excellent
Wonderful staff and high quality food
"We had a lovely stay. The staff could not have done enough for you. The place is kinda old fashioned but i think that part of its charm. The food served in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast was very high quality and delicious.
The staff were wonderful. Apparently the (waiting) staff dont really get many tips, so you may want to tip separately rather at the end of the stay to ensure they get it. It wasnt clear. One little negative, the room was way too hot and took hours to cool with the window open (and i feel the cold).
The place is dog friend ly which is nice. "

"An excellent place to stay, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast. We were in room 23, which seems to have been newly renovated and was lovely. The communal staircase needs updating and TLC, but this all takes time."
