Rutland Water is the perfect destination for a fun day out from your hotel or guesthouse in Rutland, whether you’re with the family, friends or on your own. There are loads of bike tracks in the area, and in summer the ice cream sellers are out in full force. If you’re driving here yourself from your Rutland hotel there are numerous car parks around the reservoir and you can use the same daily parking ticket for all of them. Rutland Water Nature Reserve is very popular with wildlife enthusiasts from across the county and farther afield.
