Our stay was made magical by the cats that populate the grounds and by the herd of wild boar that visited in the evening, overnight and in the morning. "The house is incredibly welcoming and has everything you need. It is spacious and really well stocked. We were 12 adults and had plenty of space together or if wanted separately! The shaded dining area was where we spent all our mealtimes, and the 'look out point' at the end of the garden is beautiful for watching the sunsets and playing Mölky on the Petanque pitch, glass of rosé in hand. There are 2 large fridges and a wine fridge and an ice machine so easy to keep drinks cold. And 2 dishwashers which were much needed for 12 of us. We used the kayaks and paddle board and had peaceful afternoons snorkelling in the sea ( easy access via the rocks - beach shoes useful!) or snoozing by the pool. There are a couple of lovely beach bar/retaurants and a supermarket, butchers and fishmongers a couple of minutes walk away. Porticcio is a 15 min drive and has long sandy beach, little markets some days and a bigger supermarket. Ajaccio about half an hour away.Angélique is a wonderful host who looked after us beautifully and joined us for a glass of wine one evening and has some wonderful stories to tell about the house. We all loved it - a perfect week in a perfect villa !"
