We stayed here the night before jetting off on our honeymoon from Heathrow and it was the perfect place. Very grand and gothic - loved all the wood panelling and the historic feel to the house.
We were shattered after our wedding day so were looking forward to a good night's sleep and Great Fosters didn't disappoint - the bed was so comfy.
The hotel staff were great and organised a very efficient taxi service to the airport while we left our car there for the duration of our time away. The taxi was lovely and added to the luxurious feel of the beginning of our honeymoon - the perfect start.
Only wish we'd got there earlier to enjoy the amazing grounds.
"Excellent hotel and great facilities for children."
Fabulous hotel and great facilities. The room was fantastic and luxurious. Stayed overnight with my son and the hotel was very child friendly. We dined in the restaurant and the food was fantastic and had a great children's menu. Would definitely stay again.
Foxhills is a resort hotel, health spa, golf destination and members club. Just 20 minutes from Heathrow, this 440 acre …More
Arrived for one night stay, beautiful location, very welcoming staff. unfortunately we didn't see much of hotel (apart form our room) since we went out to Rugby/dinner with friends.
Our booking was room only, but we weren't tempted to have the breakfast at c£15/ head ................really!, would have been nice to have a simple continental for say £6!
Will definitely go back, as Savill Court is very well located for Windsor etc
The problem with this hotel as it's situated on a main road and you can hear the traffic when in your room through old sash windows. The current owner has only been there three months and will update it in due course with new double glazed windows. Also, there are only four parking bays and the breakfast needs to have more options on the menu like cereal, fruit and croissants.
No parking facilities at the hotel but we were fortunate as we could use the supermarket nearby as we we stayed on Saturday evening. Room was clean but quite small as it was at the very top of the building. TV did not work at first but this was sorted with a metal coat hanger. Breakfast was very good indeed. Price was higher than expected but this was likely due to rugby world cup games.
Only booked a one night stay at thie hotel because it was convenient to location of school reunion. Staff were ultra helpful and courteous. Installations are old, but spotless and it was nice to stay in a place with character rather than an anonymous chain hotel.
Will definitely book again if I happen to be in the area.
