"Stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary. Staff were lovely. Hotel is great. Booked in for Sunday lunch, had to wait 45 minutes for our table. Shown to our seats had to ask a member of staff to clean chair as there was food on it. But no big deal (think they were short staffed on the day). I know most places add service charge now but it didn’t seem right that we went the bar for a drink and service charge was added to our bill (you can’t serve yourself after all). But great stay and would book again. "

"The Resident is just enough off the beaten path that the noise level is nonexistent, but so close to everything! We were able to walk to the waterfront, to Liverpool One, or to Liverpool Central train station within minutes. We had a travel disruption due to weather prior to arrival, and everyone was so kind and accommodating regarding changing our reservation. The reception desk team were all stellar, always willing to answer even the silliest of questions. Maria was especially friendly and helpful, but everyone there was simply amazing.
