Family Time Out

Posted 25-Jan-2016 on Lastminute
Pros: The staff were pleasant and welcoming, hassle free check-in experience. Facility was pleasant and nicely positioned. Loved the pool.
Cons: The rooms may need some upgrading, but not a necessity!
Location: It is right beside the Hamilton Airport. Also we chose the place because it was only 36 mins drive to Hobbiton.
Family of 14 people had a fun time staying here. We especially loved the swimming pool. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Close to the Airport

Posted 22-Jan-2016
We only stayed here because it was close to the Wedding Reception that we were attending. The Airport is right by the Airport. The rooms are very tired but were clean, I certainly would not rush back here.

We enjoyed our stay. Felt restaurant service was a little slack.

Very obliging staff

Posted 03-Sep-2015
Pros: having a whole wing to ourselves
Cons: single beds for boys
Location: good being away from town with the boys
with a team of young boys it was a mission to get all the hockey strips washed every night but staff went out of their way for us.

Potential for nice stay but let down by details.

Posted 12-Jul-2015 on Wotif
Room heating not on when arrived-on a cold wet night. Bedside lights not plugged in. Restaurant front staff poorly dressed. Worst eggs Benedict ever had. Cold sliced supermarket pack ham!? Reception friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced if details improved.

Great for Conference

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Pros: The location and the people.
Cons: Probably could do with a tart up as its showing signs of waging in the rooms but they are very clean.
Stayed here for a couple of days on conference. Really good facility and great staff. Very good restaurant. The airport being across the road and probably 5 minutes walk means its great to bring people into as well. Plenty of parking and good rooms.

Great little Hotel!

Posted 02-Jun-2015
Pros: Was really clean and neat.
Cons: The mattresses were a bit old, very bouncy. Also, there were not enough plug points for the electric blankets.
Location: Definitely great for the airport, but a little far from town and even further from residential areas.
I must admit it was more like a motel, but still clean and tidy and the receptionist was great. Really convenient if you're catching an early morning flight, but a little bit further from town, about 15 to 20 minutes out. I would definitely recommend this place to others if you're catching a flight and if you don't mind driving into town. Was great that I didn't have to get two separate rooms and we could share the room with our kids.

Nothing but the Best :Hamilton Airport Hotel

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Pros: Its welcome ; cleanliness ; the spacious unit ; the breakfast choices i; ts design ; well kept grounds & garden; & well lit
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Fishing golfing tramping & a great destinationto leave from to fly off to anywhere
There were several couples who had been invited to a family wedding held at Coopers Function Venue at Mystery Creek Hamilton It was Easter weekend & my Daughter Sandra Hopson booked us all in as it was very close for us all The bookings were easily arranged with no hitches & we were all well satisfied The Hamilton Airport Hotel offered to put on a bus to travel in to our venue for a small cost so that we could all enjoy the hospitality offered .We danced until midnight & then we were driven back to the Hotel where we congregated for coffee before retiring to our bedrooms It was very quiet which was a plus for us all & we all enjoyed a delicious Breakfast in their breakfast room
