This was the only hotel/B & B in the UK that we didn't have to lug our bags up narrow winding stairs! Lifts seem to be unheard of. View from our room not good (overlooking car park) but the hotel itself was very enjoyable to stay in, with excellent service.

Hotel is in a gorgeous location. Stayed for my birthday with my partner, and just wanted to relax. Probably check if there is wedding there because if there is and with it being a small hotel, you can hear the disco. The room was a decent size for the 2 of us, with a lovely bathroom and gorgeous views. Breakfast the next morning was perfect.

Basic pub accommodation but clean, warm and comfortable. The hotel is situated in the centre of a busy village and there are other pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance or, alternatively, it is just a short drive to Rugby or Southam. It has a secure car park and staff are friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend this hotel which is very reasonably priced.
We had a toddler in tow and were on a budget when we stayed here. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. The restaurant was quiet and of average quality. Only real criticisms is the the lack of block out curtains and the shower/bath taps. I burnt myself twice - so keep little ones away from the taps!
Oh, and there is no lift.
Nice big room and bathroom. Very clean and pleasant staff. Only problem was in the morning we were in a hurry and shower would not work!! To be fair the receptionist offered us another room but we were checking out. She was very apologetic.

The birthplace of rugby football in 1823, it comes as no surprise that the Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum is found in Rugby. Shops, restaurants, and lively pubs populate the town square. After gazing up at St. Marie's Church spire (the tallest in Warwickshire), head to Caldecott Park and observe the award-winning gardens from the Britain in Bloom competition.
