"A good roadside stop for the night. The check-in staff (didn't get the young man's name but he was excellent) was welcoming and efficient, we had a nice room, and there was a beautiful outdoor seating area. The hotel is on a busy 4 lane and is not directly accessible if you are traveling south but the turn arounds (both ways, actually) are easy and quick. The one disappointment was breakfast. It seems only a certain amt of food is put out and when it is gone, it is not replenished. There were few choices for us at 8:30am. The eggs were frozen and obviously microwaved, swimming in water. Could be so much better. The breakfast was poor, even compared to the standard Choice hotel help-yourself breakfast. I would recommend this hotel as a good overnight stop."

"Destination instructions from Montréal to VRBOpoor for us from Colorado. We used phone to guide us. Instruction to just get on 138 and you are there don’t seem accurate .VRBO was excellent in all aspects. We would stay again."

"The house is a charmer, built in 1840 with lots of history. Being that age, there are multiple levels and thresholds across rooms. My group visiting were all in the mid-70s so some of them had difficulty keeping aware of their surroundings. Actually only has one usable shower for us, as the clawfoot tub with shower addition is awkward to use if your 75.Easily slept seven of us with great sleeping arrangements. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Loved the signage on the walls that explained the history of the house.A distance from Old Town but both busses and Uber/Lyft made it easy to get around.Overall, a very enjoyable stay, house with great atmosphere and host was fantastic to work with."

"The place was nice and clean and convenient would highly recommend. There was a smell and I think it had to do with the washing machine and the time of year where the humidity was high and not alot of air movement but once settle in enjoyed the place would definatly stay again."
