We only stayed here for one night. First, the front desk is not open all day and need to arrive during their normal business hours in order to check in. The do have door codes to allow you to gain access to the room after hours but it was not convenient at all. The major flaw to this place is that the bathroom is detached from room. You have to leave your room to take a shower. We were not happy with that. When we were ready to check out there was no one at the front desk (out of normal business hours), so we had to leave the key at the front desk. We would not recommend this to a couple that are looking for a romantic spot.

Not the fanciest place, but good enough and in a convenient location. Unfortunately I was on the fourth floor and no elevator was available. So getting to my room was always exhausting. In an odd twist, each room had a designated bathroom in the hallway. So it was inconvenient to go through the hallway to shower or relieve myself, but good to know I wasn't sharing facilities with strangers.

Perfect place to stay for a trip to Florence. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. You are steps away from the Piazza del Duomo and as you leave the house you are right on the main road where all the action is happening. It is easy to get to it from the train station and plenty of restaurant options are around. We loved it and will stay here again when we return to Florence.

No Elevator, no breakfast.
The location was good that all the good news. Upon arrival we rang the doorbell and we were buzzed in to a long, dingy hallway. No one met us, and we heard a voice from the second floor yelling hello, that was our reception. We sent a scout up the stairs to find that reception was on the third floor, for those in Europe that’s #2. We asked for two twin beds a Got one large bed and a spring cot. The large bed had an old mattress that leaned to one side. The bathroom was a small it’s a postage stamp literally 3‘ x 3‘. The shower was a hole in the wall with the curtain to separate from the toilet sink and toilet paper. The pictures they provide DO NOT adequately describe the place. There was no breakfast include, they gave us a card for 25% off at a coffee bar of their choice. The rooms were cleaned daily and there was a refrigerator and A/C in the room

We arrived early and our room was ready. The guy that checked us in was extremely friendly and pleasant. The room was spacious and plenty of room for 4 people. The hotel is around the corner from the duomo. We would stay again next time in florence.

Enjoyed Our Stay, close to everything. Staff pleasant and helpful, room was clean. We were on third floor, no lift, but knew that in advance. We did have a private restroom. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

The perfect Florentine location
Staff were welcoming and helpful from the start. The location was perfect, literally a minutes walk (or less) to the Duomo square. Fridges in the room were very useful considering the heat and the airconditioning helped particularly with sleeping at night. For a short break in Florence one would find it hard to find a hotel in such a prime location and at such an affordable price. If ever in Florence again, the Bel Duomo would be our first port of call.

This property was in a great location, easy walking to many attractions and plenty of dining options close by. Our room was basic and looked out into the side street. The shower was large and the kitchenette was handy. The property was accommodating and helpful with luggage storage pre and post stay. If location is key to your travels, this is the place for you.

Location of the hotel is excellent! It is located right on the corner of the Florence Duomo, which allows you to beat the crowds to visit it in the morning. The room is very clean, but not very modern. The stuff is nice and helpful! Good place to stay. It may get quite noisy at night, especially if you are staying on a weekend.

Hello , if you tell us what was so bed to issue such a judgement which is in full contrast with our adveridge reviuws, we can do something about . But just a 2 judgement without reasons does not help us at all and it doesn't mean much either.You have stayed in a large room of 30 square meters with ensuite bathroom in the very center of Florence, with new fornitures ( 20 steps away from the Duomo), 5 people, with all the comforts ( a/c, tv, new beds etc. as described on our page) you have paid 193,00 ( 38,00 each) and you gave us 2?Well some people are never happy .... Thank you for taking some time and give your opinion

Location, Location, Location! This place can't be beaten as it's a sones throw from the Duomo. Just beware there is no lift and it's quite a few flights up and some rooms have external bathrooms, which aren't the end of the world but on a cold night at 3am it's not ideal hahahhaha
