In the heart of Rouen.

Posted 18-Aug-2017
Pros: Location, location, location, and on site parking
Cons: Effective shower splash guards; they weren't and the bathroom floor was a swamp.
Location: Close to the sights, restaurants and shops.
We were upgraded to a room with a view of the cathedral, a fridge, complementary soft drinks and coffee/tea service. On site parking was very convenient. Knowledgeable staff told us about local events. The location is excellent! In the heart of town, bit on a quiet side street. We would go back.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Parking availability is a plus (at a cost). The hotel is modern, relatively spacious, and the breakfast (included in the price) was satisfying. Would stay again.

Brilliant location, comfortable and clean

Posted 16-May-2017
Pros: clean, light, car park, location
Cons: slightly softer beds, cheaper breakfast.
Location: City sights of majestic old buldings and museums, walk along the river, climb up St Catherine's hill, a few bars with late night music on.
We stay in Rouen once a year and have tried many hotels but have chosen this one recently as it is right in the centre and has its own car park. It is clean and comfortable (although the beds are slightly too hard for me). There is some street noise and bell noise, but thats the price you pay for staying on the middle of a city!

The Mercure is located perfectly in town Centre to walk and sightsee easily. It was very clean, relaxing and modern. The breakfast buffet was fantastic.

Crowded town

We rented a small car but were hopeless to park it in the hotel garage. We used the mall instead. Great hotel room with comfy bed and pillows that were just right.

Excellent location close to old town.

Posted 20-Apr-2017
Cons: The hotel is quite hard to find and difficult to reach due to the oneway system, could do with really precise access information on the website.
Location: A lovely historic town and lots of attractive outdoor restaurants.
Pleasant, clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. A good breakfast and lots of restaurants nearby. Parking very secure.

Find this gem in a maze of streets

Posted 09-Apr-2017 on Hotels
This is a nicely updated hotel convenient to the old town. The room was too small to open two suitcases at once, but it was nicely designed, otherwise. The hotel provided good driving directions to its underground car park, but in reality there were utilities construction projects blocking the way and we had to find our own way which was not easy with all the one-way streets.
