When I was booking the room it was written that room has air conditioning and when I arrived I asked about air condition. I was laughed at by one owner that I requested about it because they don`t have it and they don`t need to have it. When I went down to the reception the wife`s owner asked me if everything is ok. "This is a wonderful hotel near the center of Alpbach. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious with fresh and quality selections including eggs cooked to order. On-site parking. There is a well stocked honor bar on the lower level. The free city pass which allows you to take a free the bus to the local ski mountain for a ride to the top is a nice benefit. Lastly, if you stay here you will get a chance to meet one of the treasures of Alpbach, Gitte (Brigitte)....

"Our guesthouse apartment (#5, top floor) was very nicely built. clean, and spacious. It is right in the center of the small town of Alpbach. Overall - a lovely place to stay but you need to know about the parking, laundry, etc. The booking info on Orbitz said there was free breakfast and underground parking. Neither was true. "A poor choice by us. No sense of comfort after a long drive along the Alpenstrasse. Old mis-matched and shabby furniture. I’ve stayed in worst places but don’t remember when. Poor choice of food (breakfast) in cramped dining conditions. Think they were doing their best, but just not a good standard of accommodation "

"Reines Gästehaus. Restaurant geschlossen. Zimmer sind wohl frisch Renoviert und gut ausgestattet. Fernseh-Empfang war schlecht ( Antennenkabel ). Es fehlte ein Mühleimer in der Küche. Leider direkt an der Straße und für mich dadurch etwas zu Laut. War der einzige Gast im Haus, etwas gruselig. "

"Beautiful, very comfortable property, a variety of restaurants and wonderful staff! I would highly recommend staying here!! Some small things to note: - there is only 1 washer/dryer in the basement, you need E1 coins to operate & you own laundry soap. It would be nice if there was more than 1 machine, I can only imagine how busy it is in the winter during ski season. Also, it would be nice if individual laundry detergent was sold onsite as grocery stores are not nearby & have limited hours....
