Nice Landgasthof
Just outside of Darmstadt, a nice hotel reasonably priced. Friendly stuff, clean and good food. All you need for a night stay

Good but with drawbacks
A modern hotel and a little chilling on entry but nice reception staff and a spacious well-appointed room with all mod cons, lockable store room and extremely comfortable beds. Only problem from the outset was being told the restaurant was closed on Saturday night with no reason so a major rethink of our plans here and it was a real minus point. Walkable into Darmstadt (~50 mins) and Roβdorf (~15 mins) by footpaths/cycle routes and several buses stopped opposite and it is off the main road. The wellness centre was closed but the sauna could be booked for heating up.Hotel seemed to be closing for the season. The restaurant seemed to be an add on (or the hotel added to it) but the food was good with some local wines, good service and it was the mushroom season and so themed menus but the soups, fish dishes were good and a nice veal steak. The breakfast was also good but this is separately priced.

Disappointed
The first day i arrived on a Bank Holiday, and after a long flight i did not expect the hotel to be NOT serving and food, especially considering the local area being completely shut down leaving me completely unable to eat or having refreshments until the following day. The hotel staff did not offer any help or show and concern that i had no ability to eat or drink and simply went home as soon as i had checked in. Very disappointed.

Use this hotel frequently for business trips in the area. It is clean and quiet. Restaurant is also very good, and convenient. Will stay again.

Picturesque but remote
The hotel is very nice to look at and the rooms are functional and relatively large. Furnishings work and the blackout electrically operated shades are nice. Breakfast was fairly standard, dinner selection was reasonably varied and well prepared, though salt usage could be reduced. Internet access was marginal, with interruptions more frequent than reasonable. Efforts to reset helped some but still slow. Remote from town but bus stop just outside hotel enabled approx. 10-15 min trip to downtown even in rushhour.

Quiet Country Setting & Clean Hotel
Modern & clean hotel. Wonderful food service. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly, with plenty of woods and fields right outside for walking. No complaints at all, we will stay here anytime we are in the area!

It was Ok but it's not for vacationers
It was obvious that the hotel caters to business people and conference goers. For vacationers, it was not a convenient location. Had to make reservations the evening before for the breakfast buffet in the morning. Very tiny bathroom in a room equipped for 4 people. There was a bigger bathroom in a 2 person room that I had to use my last morning there because the light went out in our bathroom and they had no one to send up to fix it and didn't seem concerned about it until my husband insisted we needed light to get ready. The DVD player in the TV didn't work. It was very warm in our room one day and I called down to see if they had any table or floor fans to give their guests and was told they didn't - sorry. I spilled coffee on my blouse and sweater one day and washed them out in the sink and hung them to dry next to the window and was told I had to remove them. So, as you can see, I wasn't very impressed with the hotel or their staff. We did however, have a very nice waiter and waitress our first evening there when we ate dinner in their restaurant.

Ordentliches Hotel zum guten Preis
Das Hotel war im Grunde wie so viele andere Hotels auch, in denen ich übernachten durfte. Ungewöhnlich und beachtenswert ist definitiv die Zimmergrösse. Für so viel Platz habe ich bisher immer mehr bezahlt. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Wald, so dass man sich super die Füsse vertreten kann. Frühstück ist gut, und gut ist auch das angeschlossene Restaurant.

Helt OK för en övernattning
Rent, trevlig personal. Inredningen såg ut att vara från 90-talet, men badrummet verkade nytt. Det låg ca 20 minuters bilfärd från Darmstadt. Bokade detta då det var helt fullbokat inne i stan. Wifin funkade dock väldigt dåligt.

Günstiges Hotel im Grünen
Schon zum zweitem Mal bin ich in Rossdorf abgestiegen, da es nur 15 Minuten von meinem Kunden in Darmstadt entfernt, aber mitten im Grünen ist. (Im morgendlichen Verkehr können es auch schon mal 30 Minuten sein.) Die Zimmer sind geräumig, das WLAN frei und gut, das Frühstücksbuffet in Ordung.

Inadmissible, impossible de dormir à causse de la musique et la résonance de basses! la chambre jouxtait la salle de bal ou la sono d'un mariage n'a pas cessé avant 2h00 du matin !! A partir de 23h00, pas de personnel disponible pour demander un changement. C'est vraiment inacceptable pour un hôtel de cet ordre, ni pour tout hôtel d'ailleurs....

Hôtel un peu vieillot, toutes les installations mériteraient une bonne rénovation, surtout les chambres. Odeur légère mais persistante de tabac dans la chambre, bien qu'elle ait été non-fumeur. Difficile d'aérer, la fenêtre donne sur les cuisines, alors le choix était odeur de tabac ou de friture... Restaurant correct. Hôtel situé hors du centre, accès rapide en voiture, il y a un arrêt de bus juste devant, mais je n'ai pas testé.

Billigt men inte värt mer heller!
Vi besökte mässan i Frankfurt och det var ca 1 timmes körning med trafik ( som alltid är hög) Rummet var enkelt, en del insekter av någon anledning. Grattis WiFi fungerade inte utom någon enstaka gång och då väldigt långsamt. Sängen var obekväm och det fanns endast 1 kudde. Trevlig personal.

Leider wurde ich bei meiner Abreise aufgefordert für die Benutzung des Haustelefons, Sprechzeit 3,2 Min, 30 Euro zu zahlen! Die Telefongebühr war auf dem Telefongebührenfeld nicht gekennzeichet und ich bin von max. 10 Euro für das kurze Gespräch ausgegangen! Eine Abzocke 1. Grades!

森のそばの静かなホテル
ダルムシュタット観光の後の滞在場所として利用しました。 屋根裏の様な広い4人部屋でスペースは十分。アメニティ、ミニバー、無料wifi、EV有り。照明の暗さはヨーロッパ標準的。英語はスムーズに通じた。 街の端ですぐそこが森。ホテル前にバス停と、600～700メートル範囲に21:00まで開いてるスーパー(Netto)、街のもう逆サイドの端にも大きなスーパー(REWE)がある。 ホテルのレストランは利用していないが、高級っぽかった。 ロスドルフの街にはレストランも複数有り、車があれば不便は無い。朝がすごく静かでよく眠れた。

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Tagungshotel und am Wochenende sehr ruhig. Schönes großes Zimmer. Frühstücksbüffet (gegen Aufpreis) war vollkommen ausreichend. Freundliches Personal.

Das Hotel ist alles in allem eher schmucklos und recht zweckmäßig. Das zieht sich von den öffentlichen Bereichen über die Zimmer bis zum Wellness Bereich durch. Die Fitnessgeräte sich recht alt, die Hälfte davon nicht zu gebrauchen. Sauna und Dampfbad sahen ok aus, aber alles irgendwie lieblos gestaltet. Das Restaurant hat laut Aushang bis 23 Uhr geöffnet. Um zehn Uhr war allerdings schon zu. Ich wollte eigentlich an die Bar, welche angeblich von 22-2 Uhr geöffnet hat - aber die existiert wohl nicht. Das Personal war bemüht, machte aber keinen sonderlich erfahrenen Eindruck. Im Ort gibt es eine Handvoll Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen zu bekommen, aber es ist recht trostlos da. Das Frühstück war ok.

Dejligt hotel som ligger tæt på A5 med gode værelser og restaurant med god mad og betjening. Ligger godt som overnatning til/fra ferie I Sydfrankring.
