"We had a bit of an issue getting into the property. Locals helped with calling the owner. Not sure what we would have done otherwise! Stairs to our shower area and balcony were not for anyone physically challenged. Very clean, comfortable mattress, darling small town, and lovely breakfast provided."

"Difficult to find, as only the name of the adjacent hotel, San Ruffino Resort, appears on the sign at the shared driveway. Room decor is in serious need of an upgrade (weird 70’s vibe and a lot of dangling wires) and the kitchenette and bathroom are rudimentary. Landscaping is dreary. Breakfast was basic and seemed like most items came from a supermarket. Helpful and friendly staff and the San Ruffino rResort pool (which Il Poggia guests can use) was pleasant, as were the grounds of the Resort."

"wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wirklich sehr schönen Haus mit großem Garten mit Obstbäumen sehr genossen. Das Haus und der Garten sind gut gepflegt und gemütlich. es ist alles da, was man braucht. Leider gibt es aber keinen Mückenschutz in Form von Gaze an den Türen und ab dem Dunkelwerden fallen die stechlustigen Mücken aller Arten in Scharen ein. Das heißt, über Nacht müssen die Türen( die auch als Fenster fungieren) geschlossen bleiben, was zu sehr hohen Schlaftemperaturen führt. Das ist...
