Large two building, two story complex. Easy to find off of freeway. Very quiet. Furniture is new with hair dryer, microwave, iron and ironing board, coffee pot, tv with remote, and wifi connection. I found that the staff was friendly and courteous.
Only one person at the check in desk when we arrived, and they were helping someone else so we waited for 10-15 minutes. Our check in process went smoothly, they did indicate that the charged a $500 incidental fee to our card that would be removed after we departed and the room was inspected. They do not allow pets at this hotel (which is why we picked it), and this was the reason for this fee policy. I didn't like the idea of that large charge on my card, but understood the reason since it seems like everyone travels with their pets these day, and so many hotels allow it. The hotel didn't seem very crowded, and we pnly saw a handful of people around when leaving the hotel, or returning to it. They served the typical connitinel breakfast in the morning in a good sized room that had a row of windows that had a great view of the trees located behind the hotel. They had a automatic coffee brewing system that featured three Starbucks blends, along with your general assortment of juice, muffins, bagels, potatoes, eggs, waffles, etc. We were on the second floor, and our room faced the front which resulted in a lot of road noise at night. The bathroom was good sized with plenty of hot water.
A surprisingly comfortable room. The mattress was of high quality for my bad back as were the bed linens. My only complaint was the lack of parking. The only available spot was at the back of the hotel and with no rear entrance I had quite a walk to enter in the front. All in all it was a good experience and I would stay here again.
Better than I expected for the age of the building. Priced right. Clean. Friendly personnel. Lots of families yet quiet. It was packed but the personnel survived the hungry crowd at the very well spplied breakfast.
