Cheap and cheerful. Nice location along beachfront , walkable to food options and main central area of roses. Aircon not very good, so room was very warm. Breakfast buffet average but did the job.

Got a different room from what I paid
I booked with hotels.com and it was for two twin beds with front ocean view. They gave me and interior very small room with a queen bed. They said they did not have any other room available. The hotel is nice but it is very unpleasant and unprofessional to book a room and to get something completely different.

Roses Hotel
Thé hôtel was right in front of the beach , so perfect location. Bed was comfortable but had a few issues with bedside lamps above our heads!!! The bathroom was old fashioned but clean and worked. In all we had a good stay

Hotels.com error, hotel staff slow & unhelpful.
Through hotels.com we booked one room for three people with a king size bed, and two twin beds. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that our reservation was actually for two people (not three), and the room with three beds that we reserved apparently did not exist. Hotel staff were difficult and extremely slow to get us into a single room, even after we paid extra at reception for the additional guest which apparently had not been registered on hotels.com.

The first night our room had no air conditioning and it had been 38 during the day. Went to reception in the morning, afternoon and evening to get it sorted. In the end asked for a different room. Receptionist Monica was very helpful and Bridget from the bar translating after a time a room found and we had a very restful night's sleep. Overall very clean, good breakfast and great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Best in Roses for us.
Great hotel with friendly staff. Position right on beach front. Have stayed a couple of times before and never been disappointed. Great for short break as only 2.5 hours from home in France.

Great location
Warm welcome from reception staff. Hotel in great location right on the sea front. We upgraded to a sea view room and it was great to fall asleep to the sound of waves breaking. Hotel is a bit old fashioned but comfortable and clean. Buffet dinner was surprisingly good with a good selection. Breakfast not so impressive. Not a lot of parking in the hotel grounds but we were lucky and got a spot.

Don't stay in this hotel.
The stuff was incredibly rude. Even after check out. Instead of saying thank you for your stay, I was told you can go now!!! Rooms were very smelly. I guess some problems with a drains. Will never stay again. Ive paid 150 for the room. Madness.

Moderate hotel right on the beach
Hotel is quite comfortable but has drawbacks. Lack of parking means it is usual to park across main road at the back which is no big distance but an irritation. There are groups who use the hotel which may be an issue at meals as the buffet can be congested. When we stayed some school groups were there which meant evenings were not as quiet as they would have been otherwise. The location fronts onto the promenade and beach which means you can step out onto the promenade and walk either way for a good stretch of your legs without being bothered by cars.

Very nice hotel in excellent location
We spent 3 nights here and wished to spent more. Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, Zacarias at the front desk was welcoming us at check in and he made our stay very pleasant. The hotel is very clean, the variety of breakfast and dinner buffet was good, plenty to eat. The location is excellent, everything (restaurants, shopping, sights) is within walking distance. Highly recommended and we will definitely return. Thank you

The location is amazing !
We liked here very much! The location is amazing: right in the center of the town, but still facing the castle and ocean and beach. So easy to everywhere . The hotel is old but well maintained! Food is good and very reasonable price in the same time .

Lovely hotel.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything you need, beach, bars,food, shops and entertainment. Beach is beautiful but water sports are pricey. Hotel put on some good entertainment and was spotless. Food tasty and plentiful.

Opp the beach. Waiting on staff very helpful. The hotels lunch menu not really to our liking. The strawberry milk shake was super. The one lady on reception was very unhelpful and rude. Room was fine, cleaning lady very good at her job. The hotel was placed just at the right spot in the resort.

A nice small hotel right on a beach. Food is OK, rooms are not bad. Just do not expect to get a sea view room even you've booked in two months in advance. And Lola will charge you at a sea view rate without a blink.

We enjoyed Rosas but 7 nights was maybe 2 too many. The hotel was very good, well located in a quiet area but only yards from the beach. Excellent bars and restaurents within a few minutes walk. Hotel staff very attentive, efficient and friendly.Breakfast was included in our package and had good choice of freshly prepared hot and cold dishes. Bar prices were very reasonable and the lounge spacious with free wi-fi. Bedroom adequate with a balcony. Clean towels every day. Free on site car parking was a bonus.

OK for a touristy beach town
I foolishly think that European beach towns will somehow be essentially more authentic than so many of the tacky ones in the States, but alas, Roses, Spain resembles Panama City Beach, Florida more than the Cinque Terre. The hotel was clean and comfortable though rather unmemorable. Some of the front desk staff were either very new of just inept. This was not a language issue since we speak Spanish. One gentleman at the front desk was actually quite rude. On a long trip around northeastern Spain he really was the only unpleasant person we encountered working in a hotel. The housekeeping staff and folks working at the bar and in the dining area were all very helpful and pleasant. Internet is only available in the lobby areas. It is centrally located in Roses. I would guess that the hotel is as good as any in Roses at this price range.

short stay - one night only and we had a very early start the following morning. As we were leaving before the start of breakfast service, there was a breakfast left out for us in the dining room, with coffee also available. Lovely note, super location, very helpful staff.

A short walk to center of town
Hotel was right on the water and the boardwalk ran in front. We had a room with sea view but had to step way out on balcony to actually see the sea. During the summer the neighboring condo's could be loud considering the closeness. Parking could be a problem if hotel is full. Nothing exceptional about this Hotel but nothing that was really disliked, either. A good one night stop through. Staff was not overly friendly but efficient.

Excellent Beach Location in fabulous Bay of Roses
The Hotel has been refurbished and is in a great location on the beach - great vibe along the extensive promenade. Insist on a front sea facing room. Staff not that friendly and Reception do not hand on messages! We were there at a busy time so perhaps they had had enough of all the tourists this year to Spain.

Great Beach Hotel!
If the beach is where you want to be, then this is the place. We had a great view from the balcony of our room and the beach itself is right out the door. This hotel is a bit older, and the elevators are dreadfully slow. The breakfast buffet isn't world class either. But for the price it was unbelievable. We spent most of our trip on the beach or walking up and down the promenade, and this place is perfect for that. The hotel did offer several in house activities, but due to poor notification, we didn't participate in those. All around great place to stay and would go back again. *Note, if partying is your thing, it might not be the place for you. Very relaxing atmosphere and not too many party goers.

The hotel Coral Plaja - Roses Spain
We booked for a party of 10 and had 5 rooms which were all quite large and roomy, all had sea views our party were delighted with their rooms. Overall the hotel was quite nice and close to the beach and Roses town. We arrive at the end of the season but the hotel was still very busy. We stayed for six nights and were full board, the food was bland but ok and we had a very good choice of dishes but that was for just the first 2 days only. Then food was poor in quality and choice in the last 4 days of the holiday maybe they were just using left overs!!!. Also plates were cold so food ended up cold too?

Bel Hotel mais lors de notre séjour nous avions loués une chambre pour 3 Adultes. a notre arrivée dans la nuit il n'y avait plus qu'une chambre 2 personnes. La personne de l'accueil à positionné un lit d'appoint. Je suis conscient qu'elle a fait avec les moyens du bord... Par contre le lendemain matin j'ai demandé à ce que ce soit rectifié mais sans effets l'hôtel étant plein.... Sinon le cadre était bien mais vraiment déçu de cet incident et que dire au départ de la personne à l'accueil qui ne dit même pas au revoir et encore moins comment c'est passé votre séjour ?
