We happen to be there during an intense heat wave, which made walking a challenge. The apartment is as described, quite a few stairs (70) to get to the apartment, but manageable in a city of cobblestone and stairs. For the location, it is surprisingly quiet, other than a lovely church bell that chimed every so often. It is very eclectic and interesting space to be in. Because of its age, it feels like it might not be clean, but it is. Host Riccardo is incredible! He helped up check in early (to drop off bags), showed us the ropes, has a binder of suggestions and wifi and apartment information. He was easy to reach and quick in response!
