• There was no working number listed on the website or on Travelocity to reach the manager/owner of Urban Flowers. Travelocity also tried but couldn't. Consequently, there was no one to greet us when we arrived in Rome.
•The address 85a Cappellari was listed as our room but rented to someone else. The renters in 85a had the same issue that we did trying to reach the manager. However, they had a key to a common room where they let us in to wait, try to find out how to contact the managers. We finally saw on a counter a note for us with a key & directions to get to a room.
•The room #60 was fitted with a padlock. We opened the door & realized we could not lock it with the same padlock from the inside because the eyelets were not in alignment. There was a rock on the floor which we assumed was used to put in front of the door. So, we were unsafe.
•We were overcome by a heavy mold & mildew smell. Then saw there was a lot of mold on the wall in the bathroom & on the tiles.
•We were listed to have a queen bed but had a dirty full size bed. My partner is 6'2, 260 lbs. We could not sit up straight in the Loft bed. The railing to the Loft was weak & flimsy.
•There was a window w/out glass in the shower that looked out into the hallway & the front door. No way to close it because the Wi-Fi unit sat inside of it. So, if you were standing at the front door one could see right into shower.
•Dirty, dusty, no soap, 1/3 roll of toilet paper, only 2 small towels.
