The apartment is therefore formed by a 4-rooms unit and a studio. As mentioned, the 4 rooms unit has a common area in the basement with a dining table and seats for 10 people, a sofa and a kitchen corner with induction hobs, a microwave, a coffee maker and a kettle and refrigerator. Although it is also a short cab ride to all other sites in Rome. Francesca is an excellent host, she responded to questions about the facility before we arrived and then helped after we checked in--especially when we had trouble contacting the cab company. VRBO was very clean and worked well for our group of seniors who can manage a few steps. There is also a mini market right around the corner and a larger market within 2 blocks (both open on Sunday) Also within a block are a couple of nice, local restaurants. Entering was easy. It was simply done with key cards. We rented the entire place as we had 9 people all together. The only downside was the airconditioning didn't seem to be working in the two upstairs units (it was very hot). The downstairs area smelled like sewage / sulfur and the internet was broken. This was not their fault as the company was down. However, my husband was allowed to go as long as he checked in for his work meetings and he could not. The only issue was that the showers were very small. A little smaller than what you would find on a cruise ship. I dealt mostly with Francesca when making arrangements and with Carolina once we arrived. One recommendation is to load WhatsApp on your phone it is the main way to message people in Europe. Both Carolina and Francesca spoke English very well which was a big help for us non Italian speaking folks. If you want to see Rome this is a great place to stay. ##### Michael G. We rented the main apartment with 4 bedrooms (each with its own key) and the studio next door. The required separate keys for each room with automatic locking doors was a little stressful but we managed not to lock anyone out. One thing to know is that there is no true living room with large couches which - for a large group - was a little inconvenient. We found it walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Rome including the Vatican, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and shopping. We did walk to the Coleseum but did Uber back after a long first day in the city. The air conditioning works great with split in room systems and was very safe and secure inside an apartment building with locking outside doors at night.
