Beautiful room view a fabulous view of the piazza and within walking distance to many sights. Continental breakfast brought to our room each morning included cappuccino, tea, warm croissants, yogurt, cereal, and biscuits. Such a pleasant experience.

Great location - small space, awkward entrance, friendly host. You can hear the other guests / thin walls. Nice breakfast and service is good. You’re paying for location - cool balcony overlooking Piazza Navona. I’ve stayed at nicer hotel here before - twice the cost but much nicer. Probably will not stay here again unless only option.

The location is amazing! Centrally located and the best view looking out your room right onto the fountain in the piazza, stunning! Everyone was so helpfull and friendly. Good breakfast delivered right to your room.

Pure Perfection ( prepare for some quirks)
The most excellent hotel you can get in Rome - as long as you know a few things going in. 1) there are only 3 rooms so do not expect full service anything. Breakfst delivered to your room is a lovely touch. 2) There is no sign at the front door marking the entrance. If you note the address and buzzer in advance this won't be an issue but if you assume the adress alone is enough you may hang out on a Piazza Navone service road. Once you know these two things you will delight in having access to a secret treasure of Rome. Sipping prosecco on a balcony overloooking the Piazza is the stuff of Italian wet dreams. Hollering down to order pasta from the restauant below who will bring it around to meet you is the very definition of La Dolce Vita. I've stayed in more hotels than I can count around the world in all price points and this iswithout a doubt the best value I've found. It's my new favorite hotel in Rome

On the plus side, the hotel is located facing a very pretty palazzo but it is extremely hard to find. There were no signs and even our driver had trouble finding it. We ended up in an alley for the entrance. We had a deluxe room and there wasn’t anything special about it. The bathroom was so small that you couldn’t even turn around. On top of that our air conditioner didn’t work well. There is no staff on the premise so there was no one ne to contact. Breakfast was brought to our room and was very good.

It's true there's no sign, but our address is very clear therefore we can't understand how is it possible a professional driver had a problem to find it. Our Deluxe Room is very appreciated from our guests, as it is unique in it's particular design, not to mention it has a private balcony with Piazza Navona view and I guarantee you Palazzo De Cupis is one of a very few hotels to offer such a privilege and for a reasonable price you won't find anywhere else. The dimensions of our bathroom are comfortable, we are very sorry to hear you couldn't turn around. Our reception is active from early morning till 1P.M., we are present in our office, also we have a 24/7 concierge service via Whatsapp, we contact our guests one day prior their arrival every time and our guests can contact us anytime and we got very positive feedback, so therefore again, we are very surprised to hear you had no one to contact. We make sure we ask our clients if everything goes well, and we are very sorry you din't say anything even at checkout, therefore you left us without a possibility to try to meet your needs. What a view
Very nice comfortable room with the best view ever. Balcony with view of the piazza is why we stayed here and was wonderful waking to fountain view every morning

Loved everything about the property. Looked out the window and was in the Piazza Navona. Slight problem with our TV. Satellite was broken. No big problem. If you want to stay in Rome, this is a fantastic palazzo.

Great location, but noise problems
This is a 3 room hotel. The locations is amazing. The staff, while not there fully time, was nice and helpful. The room was nice. It was great to sit on the balcony and people watch. The bed was comfortable. Apple TV for the room was nice. Here is where the not so great things come in. Noise from the piazza was not an issue. Every time water was turned on, the pump, I’m assuming, would turn on and was very loud. The noise from the hallways was also very loud. Around 4:30am someone was very loudly moving in and out bags of laundry (throwing them up and down the stairs in the echoing hallway). I feel that could have been done at some time other than that early in the morning. WiFi was also not good. Streaming Netflix would pause every 15 seconds. Advice, if you are a heavy sleeper and just want a nice view, this place is fine. Otherwise, you may get annoyed with the frequency you wake up at night.

This was the first stop of three hotels in differnt cities. After a cab from the airport at a fixed rate of 48 Euro we were dropped off right at the door. Being from NY I wasn't use to having the hotel name on a doorbell so it took us a while to figure it out but when we did the young man met us at the door and carried our bags up the two flights of stairs. He was a godsent. The room had a balcony right over Piazza Navonna. The Wi-fi was great. The room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Taxi stand was a little bit of a walk but no problem. I recommend staying at Piazza navona versus the Colosseum and Forum area because it is beautiful in the morning and evening. We looked right out at one of the fountains. . Very close to the Pantheon and the Tiber. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Rome and Venice this was our favorite.

This property is wonderful. I was there in Feb when it was cold, the room was cozy and warm. The staff are also warm and welcoming. I had the pleasure of being welcomed by Tomas. He was so helpful, kind and took the time to help me plan an evening on the town. It was a great stay, in a spacious, clean room overlooking Piazza Navona. The stay includes a continental breakfast. I would recommend a stay at this old palace!

We were thrilled with our Room #101 (the smallest room). It looked out right on Piazza Navona, is reasonable walking distance to all major tourist sites in Rome (ie: Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Campo di Fiori, Pantheon, etc) and the room was a really decent price. Very clean, modern conveniences, and it was lovely laying in bed at night listening to the musicians playing in the square (don't worry, they don't play late). Highly recommend this place! Next time we are in Rome, we will be staying here. Do yourself a favour and book a car to bring you from either the port or airport to the hotel because you will never find it otherwise lol. In a quaint building with a beautiful church right across the lane.

Online Concierge Service Worse Than Useless
The location is superb and the balcony very special. Very enjoyable. But the what's app concierge service was beyond awful. The arrangement for a driver and guide from the port to Ostia Antica produced only a driver who dropped us at the hotel. Dealing with the concierge service was useless because response time is about two hours. Ultimately the explanation was "you never confirmed." Okay, misunderstanding. But the twice confirmed car to the airport never did show up, making for raw panic to find a taxi at 7 am. No explanation from the service. None. Ever. Just remember that there is no one at the hotel and no one to contact; the emergency numbers produce recordings, in Italian of course. Otherwise, the usual ups and downs. The breakfast was pedestrian. Only one cockroach shared the room. And the coffee maker was great.

Great location, easy walk to the Vatican, clean room, however a bit noisy when you run any water. Must have been a pump or something. Also coordinate your arrival as there is no lobby so they meet you at the place. We did not realize this so we had to wait about 20 minutes, but once in all was good.

Fabrizio was great! Gave us some good suggestions and made an extra effort to ensure we were taken care of. The location of the place is wonderful too! Loved the umbrellas available to us for the rain! We used them. Thanks! As for cleanliness and comfort the room is a bit lacking. Lobby smells like smoke and room was dark unless shutters were open. Since shutters are on the outside it was tricky to open them and not have the whole piazza see you. Over all it seemed decent but no where I’d want to stay again. Breakfast on the last day was burned. Too bad. Has potential!

Dear, Thank you for your review, We just would like to specife that you did had the view of the whole Plaza from your room. All the rooms in our boutique hotel has them.The window you are describing is the window facing the side street. Regarding the breakfast we try to bring it as fresh as possible, sometimes we overcook them but we would bring them again if you would have told us.

We booked 1 night at the Palazzo De Cupis & asked the hotel staff to help us with booking a taxi from the train station which they did & confirmed with us. As soon as train arrived we rushed to the exit of the station to find out that there is no driver waiting for us. We waited for 20 min just in case driver is running late, but still no one if there. Then we called the hotel and are told that our driver has waited for us for the last 40 minutes and just left. We will be charged 35 Euros by this taxi company no matter what. We get to the hotel and had to talk to the manager. He simply told us that we absolutely have to pay 35 Euros for the taxi we never even saw. It’s a rule and there is nothing we can or will do about it. We do understand the rule – if we are late we pay no matter what. But we weren’t late. We called the hotel within 20 min of arriving to the train station and were told that driver waited for us for 40 min (where if the simple math?) and left. We tried explaining to the manager that time doesn’t even add up. At that point manager started raising his voice at us. He would not listen to us, nor to our logic, not to us trying to explain. When we asked him “where do you think we were”? He said “most likely you just went to some shops after the train and lost track of time". So now we are also liars. And at that point he just kept on yelling at us and telling us we are not telling the truth. We had to leave. Who hires this type of management!? Awful experience..

Great little hotel
Don’t be alarmed by the door with no sign. Once you enter and make it through the entrance you’ll find a quaint tiny bnb-type hotel with rooms very modern, clean and comfortable (with AC!). The woman who works there and makes breakfast is very nice and helpful. And the location is outstanding. I’d definitely stay there again.

The place to stay in Rome!!
This is THE place to stay in Rome. First, the room itself is immaculate, simply designed, clean, inviting, and comfortable. The host is 110% what you need in a host. Extremely responsive and very helpful. Second, the location simply can’t be beat. I studied abroad in Rome ten years ago and know the city well. Situated right on Piazza Navona simply doesn’t get any better in Rome. Each room with its balcony provides the perfect way to wake up each morning — to the Piazza empty each morning with Bernini’s sculptures to yourself. And in the evening there is no better place for a pre dinner drink. At night it’s alive but the windows cut out all the sound for a peaceful night sleep. The central location is also perfect. Central to walk to all of the sites. One night we lost our key and had to get in tough with the host to get back into the room. It was late at night and we felt terrible. He responded right away and had a solution for us, was so hospitable throughout the whole ordeal which was entirely our fault. Don’t keep looking, this is the place to stay in Rome. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else myself and would even plan a vacation around their availability which sounds crazy but I mean it.

Perfect location, home like atmosphere!
The staff was excellent and the location was priceless! We ran into an issue with our transportation back to the airport and without hesitation the staff helped us arrang a private car! If I could rate this a 10 I would, 5 stars doesn’t come close to how much we enjoyed our stay!

Incredible Hotel with Incredible Service
The location was perfect. The room was clean and modern. The balcony made our stay so much more enjoyable - I highly recommend a room with a balcony as this is where we chose to spend our mornings eating breakfast and spend our evenings drinking wine. The staff were all amazing and helped with any requests we had. We couldn't have chosen a better spot to stay in Rome.
