Small out of the way place. The gentleman who worked there was so helpful and attentive to our needs. Including taking us to the airport at 4am. Highly recommend this place.

24 hour onsite staff not available
Only one person does registration and housekeeping. No 24x7, so if you are planning to leave bags, you are taking a big risk as the keypad codes through the several gets to get to the property don't always work. And if you have a foreign SIM card, you may not be able to reach anyone for help. Overall quality of the rooms not commensurate with the room rate. I stayed at a nearby hotel on subsequent dates that were cheaper with 24x7 staff and much better room quality.

Communication through Expedia was average.air con didn't work.fridge dirty and smells .bed small and hard as are the pillows.no amenities.only upside was close to railway station.noisy with other guests coming and going.communication on arriving was ok

Safe and quiet place. Close to Termini station and restaurants. Not much space for your clothes and there are no luggage rack, no iron/board to borrow. The room are clean and tidy except the drawers has hairs which I cleaned and I think the fridge has a black mold. Air conditioning is not that good enough to cool us other than that all is well.

Great old Italian style guest house near main st.
Nice guest house close to Roma Termini station. Quarry room spacious and got 2 big double bed great for 4 people and with kids. Washroom is in the middle. Easy after hours check in. Secured with coded entrances at main door and iron gate and to the apartment and to your room! Old Italian apartment style building if you want to experience the old style instead of regular hotel experience. Front desk guy was great and we stored our baggage after check out to catch a later train from termini.

staff was amazing !! very helpful when the airport lost my luggage, went out of their way to be helpful in many ways. perfect for a low cost option pre-cruise. close to many sites and walkable. quiet and clean. no issues at all

Great location for train, metro and bus to get to/from and around Rome. Clean, comfortable room with friendly and accommodating staff. Getting into the shower enclosure was a bit of a squeeze.

If you have not stayed in these types of properties in Italy, you need to know what you are getting. It is not staffed during the bull of the time. You use codes to get in, and it is hard to find and dark and very creepy in the entrance and way to the room. Once you get to the room, it is lovely. I travel alone. As a woman. Do not do these types of hotels alone. Not safe. Stay at a staffed hotel.

Lovely room and hotel is nearby attractions! :) p
Very lovely hotel that is quite central to tourist attractions - most are within walking distance. Metro, bus station and rail station are nearby too (less than 15min walk) making travelling across Rome easy and convenient. Hotel room was lovely; nice clean bed and shower which is exactly what we wanted. Owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Cheap but simple
Location is great, there are a number of shops and restaurants nearby as well as one metro station. The room is very comfortable, central air conditioning gave a very good climate to it. The bathroom could have been in a better situation. Some of the appliances were not fixed, like the shower head that was a little loose. I was expecting to have breakfast but not sure I can consider some sweet breads and two small box of juice left from one day to another to count as one.

Nice, helpful staff.
Helpful staff. Although be aware, like many hotels in the area, it's not staffed throughout the day, mainly only when people check in. The building houses several hotels on different floors, as does another building nearby. The room was clean. Coffee machine in room is a plus.

Great staff, good location
Staff was great. Very helpful and accommodating, worked hard, and did everything to make the stay good. Accommodated a way for me to leave luggage and pick it up late in the evening. Location is good for train station. A little over 10min walk, but away from the more sketchy areas.

Hotel in magnificent palace
The hotel is situated at 2nd floor of magnificent palace. Location of the palace is very good, near Roma Termini Statione toward most sights of the city. I stayed in triple room (double + single bed) and it was excellent for me as a solo. Maybe a bit small for three adults (only one chair). Very clean and quiet for sleeping, although the palace is on the main street, the hotel is in the back part of the building. The staff was very kind. The breakfast consist of industry cakes, everything sweet (fruit yogurt). All things are in the room (there are refrigerator and coffee maker).

Great location, great host
I stayed one night in Magnifico and it was perfect since it was within walking distance to all major attractions - Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon etc. My host Shafik was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend! My only piece of advice is to improve the breakfast - perhaps add in a sandwich!

Lovely budget hotel with perfect location
Location is perfect for touring Rome and only a five minute walk from the train station. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast consists of muffins and pastries which were very well stocked allowing for snacks throughout day. There were also two types of coffee for the coffee machine restocked daily. The lovely man at the desk could not have been more helpful and made our stay even nicer.

Room smelled like mold when we got in there the lady said it was what they used to clean. I know what cleaning solution smells like and that was just mold. There was a ridiculous infestation of ants and the air conditioner hardly worked so it was beyond hot

We had a great stay - the front desk manager Uddi was excellent! Would definitely recommend. Great area and quiet stay! The breakfast is minimal but the coffee machine is great!

This hotel is a good, basic guest house/hotel. It's close to the metro and major Rome sights. It's quiet at night, clean, and has a small breakfast to get you started in the morning. Air conditioner, shower, mini fridge all worked fine. It's fairly easy to find as long as you look for the address and not a sign (there is none). The only con is that the desk is not staffed for much of the day (or at least it varies). The man at the desk is quite helpful though.

Great for the price.
The hotel was nice. The owner was very nice and the location was perfect. Many great restaurants and I walked to pantheon, trevi, spanish steps and the colosseum. The only issues are the A/C isn't great, many hot nights in bed. And it's small. If your on budget this hotel is amazing but if you can afford a more comfortable room I would recommend it.

Worst choice for a Hotel in Rome
Very bad choice. Was a muck "hotel". Breakfast was a cookie in the room. Bad internet and a really really simple room. "Staff", was just the owner of this "house-hotel" and was not so helpful and arrogant. He really doesn't care about their clients. Never again I will stay at this awful place.

The Magnifico is well located on an lively and interesting street with walking access to all historical sites. The hotel is small but rooms are nice and well equipped. Uddin the Hotel Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would stay again. Thanks.
