Our experience in the Monti apt. was fantastic. Perfect for people who want to live like the locals. Lots of important sites nearby to visit plus plenty of shops to buy groceries and restaurants all around. It's on the 3rd floor (European 2nd) with no elevator. Nice to know if you can't do stairs.
