The hotel needs a little updating but the staff we're very friendly and helpful and couldn't complain about the cleanliness of the room. It was a bit far out of central Rome for my liking as we had to get a bus or a taxi. But if you want to stay somewhere very green just a bit out of Rome then I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Il a un caractère un peu vieillot, mais avec beaucoup de charme. Le personnel est très accueillant, parlant un peu français et conseille spontanément pour trouver un resto dans le coin, par exemple. Pas mal de clients étaient italiens. Les chambres sont un peu bruyantes, mais rien de gênant. La chambre était équipée correctement (coffre, mini-bar) avec une climatisation aisément réglable. Vor dem Hotel fahren nur Busse, die aber auch zum Termini (keine lange Strecke) fahren. Von dort aus kommt man natürlich auch mit Null Rom Erfahrung gut weiter. Wir haben nur ein richtiges Restaurant in der Nähe gefunden, welches sich neben dem Supermarkt Carrefeur befindet. Alle Aehenswuerdigkeiten sind super erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Kauf des Roma-Passes vor Ort. Die freigehaltenen Zimmer fuer Expediareisende sind sehr, sehr klein, wir haben dann fuer die letzten 2 Naechte in einem anderen Zimmer 100 € insgesamt draufgezahlt um vernünftig wohnen zu können, dann war es perfekt, die Reise allerdings kein Schnaeppchen mehr. Ärgerlich war auch, dass ich wegen des Lufthansa-Streiks 1,5 Std versucht habe bei Expedia jemand zu erreichen und dann den ersten Flugweg mit dem Zug antreten müsste. Bierchen wird hier auch nachts serviert. Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse üppig. Kaffee in allen Variationen. Gegen Aufpreis auch englisches Frühstück möglich. Minibar mit humanen Preisen im Zimmer; ebenso kostenloser Safe. Okay, Einzelzimmer sind klein, wirklich klein. Bad war in Ordnung mit Hausschuhen, Fön und Kosmetikartikeln, neuen Handtüchern. Wir fanden die Zimmer nicht hellhörig. Klimaanlage sehr leise. Meine Freundin und ich würden jederzeit wieder für 9 Tage hinfahren. The so-called deluxe superior rooms on the top-attic floor were bearable although the rafters were a mixture of white painted wooden beams and pipes. On arrival there was no-one in reception; it took 15 minutes to hunt someone down! The staff were very helpful although some did not speak English. The breakfast was okay. The garden setting with tables and chairs were very nice for both breakfast and for drinks from the bar in the evening although there were mosqiutos! The metro is 10-15 minutes walk. Sehr netter Empfang bei allen Fragen behilflich. Sogar Tickets für Bus und Metro kann man erwerben, wobei einem gleich noch der Weg erklärt und auf der Karte eingezeichnet wird. Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt gegenüber des Hotels. Sehr gutes Frühstück und für italienische Verhältnisse selten anzutreffen.
