The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location for sightseeing in Rome. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. And breakfast was superb. The view from the rooftop bar is priceless.

Beautifully designed property with a modern aesthetic. Perfect location near Piazza Navona. Nice roof garden. Staff was especially helpful with parking options and dinner reservations. A true gem!

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I have a mixed reaction. The location is excellent, the staff is outstanding, and the service and facilities are first-rate. But my room was very small, far too small for a couple to share. I had to squeeze between the desk (not usable as a desk) and bed to get to the far side of the room where there was only a small chair stuck in the corner so tight that the wall molding poked me in the back. The lights made a bad buzzing sound that made me not want to use them. The size of the room made it not a good value, considering the cost of the hotel. The exceptionally well appointed bathroom was so small you had to turn sideways to get in it (and I'm not large) and you keep knocking into door handle or sink or tub. But I do want to emphasize how outstanding the staff is, how welcoming and helpful, and how great the location and the amenities. I'd stay there again, but only with a bigger room--and maybe different lights (a weird complaint, perhaps, but the buzzing was really loud and intrusive).

The hotel is beautiful. The bed (a king!) was very comfortable. The shower had excellent pressure. Enjoyed the amenities. The rooftop bar has the most amazing views. Very much appreciated the welcome drink and treat.

This is a lovely hotel located in a great area for walking to a lot of major attractions like the Pantheon, Vatican etc. All of the staff were brilliant. Possibly the nicest staff ever at a hotel. So friendly and happy. They made it a fantastic trip to the best city in the world. If you can’t have a good time in Rome then you are lost.

We had a wonderful time at Bio hotel Raphael. Very friendly and polite staff. Beautiful and cozy hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms were fully equipped with modern and expensive appliances. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Bio Raphael is an old school, elegant property. Staff is professional, friendly, so helpful- every dining recommendation was on point. In fact they even told us their favorite dishes to order and those were the Best!!! We love this hotel and will definitely return. Few hotels are like this anymore.

Beautiful hotel and well located. The staff were very helpful. My only issue was the checkin process as one of my rooms was not ready until after 6pm. The staff was very confrontational about my sharing my checkin review with Expedia which made me uncomfortable.

It’s a pity to say that I had a terrible experience at this hotel, as the hotel it’s beautiful and very well located, the employees are very professional and courteous but the room was full of flies and mosquitoes, bathroom shower was moldy and the AC was not working, the breakfast had great items but the omelette was terrible and the chef making it had bad attitude, not pleasant at all, they have to work on this as it’s a very beautiful hotel, besides the cook guy everyone was super nice, but to sleep without ac in the middle of summer was terrible

Beautiful property and character. Rooms are a little tight, but still adequate and lovely. Hotel staff was extremely helpful, friendly and provided excellent service. Very convenient location that made our entire stay walkable to all of the important historic sites. Highly recommend.

Beware of stiff city tax at checkout
Had a very bad experience at checking because they did not recognize the US Department of State official passport ID Card. Also breakfast was included in our package and at checkout they try really hard to make us pay for breakfast. Please note that they are into vegan and Bio friendly food and there are no meat of any kind at breakfast lunch or dinner. Hotels.com should make them make the public aware of this policy

The Bio Hotel Raphaël is truly a 5-Star Hotel. From location to quality of the hotel everything was absolutely first class. There is not one inconvenience I can think of with this property. I give it my highest recommendation.

The property was nice. Unfortunately the rooms have no a/c and they bring you a fan or tell you to open the window. Which was disappointing for the amount they charge per night. Wish they would have at least offered a discount, but instead just apologized.

This a very good place to stay in Rome. Quiet and discreet, the hotel has a special charm and perfect location, just a few steps from Piazza Navona. The staff is very friendly and all the spaces are neat and carefully maintained, with fine art decorations. It was our second time there and surely there will be others.

Europe Tour- Stop at Rome
Me and my wife been traveling Europe for past 2 months and chose Bio Raphael for our 4 nights stay in Rome. Only excellent things to say, it made our Rome trip memorable. All the staff are very competent, friendly and always helpful. We very greeted with smiles always regardless time of day. The location of this hotel is strategic, getting around on foot in Rome is not difficult. And the hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. 5 stars all around!

I was really excited about this hotel and the location is perfect. Overall though, we were disappointed with this hotel compared to other hotels in Italy especially with the cost (the most expensive). Our room card didn’t work so we had to ask the front desk for a physical key that we had to return to the front desk every time we left and had to ask for it when we returned. This made our stay feel less private and it seemed like it was possibly a permanent issue with that room and others. We stayed in one of the Meyer renovated suites, but the room still felt dated. Everything electronic in the room was very complicated because it’s an old building and we weren’t given instructions on how to use everything. There were no outlets/ usb by the bed for charging. The room and bed itself were not comfortable and we did not sleep well there. There was no coffee maker in the room (not unexpected for Europe) but there was an espresso pod machine in the lobby which was nice. However, they removed that in the AM hours! They wanted you to pay $32 per person for a Vegetarian breakfast and if you’ve been in Rome you know that is extremely overpriced for even a multi-course dinner with drinks! The staff were however very nice, we were welcomed with a half bottle of wine and the room was clean.

This is a great place and centrally located. Very close to Pantheon and Trevor fountain. Walk to the Vatican or Colosseum is about 20 minutes. Very lively and fun area!

Beautiful building, conveniently located yet set-back for quiet enjoyment. Lovely art collection in public areas of the hotel. Room decoration was bland and unimaginative. Fabulous roof top terrace, but unfortunately has a vegan restaurant. Not an ideal choice for people looking for the best of Italian cuisine.
