The first one was sadly not a terrace but a door that opened to a small slab surrounded by 4 brick walls/no view. One wall was to another building under renovation so from 7a-7p there was jackhammering and drilling all day. The desk staff were helpful and gladly offered another room for the remaining part of our stay. To our pleasant surprise it was a lovely apartment suite with a quaint rooftop terrace. If you want to experience this gem in the heart of the city with direct bus access right outside the hotel, request room 312\. There is a bus stop right outside the entrance which was great, but could be a minor hinderance due to all the people waiting for the bus to arrive. Shops close by and with a bit more of a walk you could find many good restaurants. Not spectacular, but definitely comfortable. Staff was very helpful with all needs from getting taxis to giving directions and maps to sites. Very close to The Pantheon and walkable to many other places like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps..just wear comfortable shoes. Spent 5 nights and you'd need that or at least 4\.
