This place is tough to get to, if you're walking from the train or bus. It is up a very steep hill, and I use a walker for mobility issues. The room was clean, and the staff were all kind and helpful. Our very limited Italian language skills were not a problem, as all front desk staff spoke at least some English. Breakfast was typical, with several tasty pastry choices, but little protein. No other meals are served on the premises. My husband and I both found the mattress to be pretty hard, but that is a matter of preference, not a fault. There are supermarkets and other necessities nearby, and the desk staff will call for food delivery, if you want something. There is no elevator, so the gentleman on the desk put us in a ground floor, accessible room, even though they had originally booked us a room higher up.
