GREAT HOTEL NEAR TERMINI
Great hotel with superb breakfast, good location near Termini with a number of eating options close by. One minor issue is that the main lift is out of order due to renovations and the only available lift is a tiny historic lift which does not take even 1 person with 2 cases. This made the descent from the 5th floor difficult as there was no assistance available from the hotel. Would definitely return though

The stay was great but the only disadvantage is there are no elevator to bring up the suitcase. :(

There are ongoing renovation works in order to replace the main elevator of the building and, in the meantime, all guests can use the second elevator, that, normally is used for internal service. Nothing bad to say about this hotel very clean hotel spotless super friendly stall old hotel but what an upgrade. They did. Recommend to anyone from Canada or abroad to check this place out. 5 minute walk to train station lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Two thumbs up from me

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were leaving for a wedding in Slavakia and they let us leave a bag with them while we were away. Staff recommended a fantastic restaurant just down the street. Super great experience.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had variety, everything looked fresh. Rooms are comfortable, hotel is close to metro, train, pharmacy, and market!

Un planned trip: We booked upon arrival at Rome. Location is perfect: close to metro and train station that bring a you pretty much everywhere quickly, and quiet area at night. Breakfast worth the 9€. Staff was very helpfull. At thé front desk, They all Spoke English and some French. We will be back!

We had a great stay here on a recent trip to Rome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. It’s also close to a metro station which is convenient and many restaurants in walking distance. We definitely be back!

Hotel Canada itself was a very good property. The lobby's furniture, if I had to pick one thing to improve upon, was a bit old, but it served it's purpose. The STAFF was INCREDIBLE! Each person at the front desk was incredibly responsive and helpful each time we approached them with a question. They were very kind and NEVER acted like we were bothering them (which we experienced in other places in Rome). The only other thing was the air conditioning in the room. It worked, but not well at all. The lift was in great working order. Mostly, BRAVO to the staff. They were absolutely top notch in all ways.

We had a group of six couple staying here pre-cruise. The front desk staff were very engaging and efficient. The small bar area took care of all of our guest needs each afternoon and evening. We all stayed tonight and it was an easy walk to great restaurants. This is an older property but it was well-maintained the bedding was comfortable. We will recommend to other travel partners

Canada Hotel in Rome
Very nice property walkable to train station. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and gave us an upgrade to a 2 room suite with a very comfortable king bed. The add on breakfast was only 9 euros which included eggs meats cheeses abundant pastries cereals fresh fruits and cappuccinos or coffees of your choice. It is not a great area for walking to see the sites I of Rome

Nice and close to the train terminal and to buses and metro. Several nice restaurants close by. Streets were well lit, making you feel safe when walking in the evening. The hotel staff were exceptional - very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and a great size with a comfortable king bed. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others staying in Rome who are travelling by train.

Location is as good as it gets. Close to Termini station. Staff were OK. I thought they could have assisted more with luggage. The room is a good size, and generally speaking it's clean. But there were two major problems with the room: 1. There was no safe in the room 2. There was a leak in the shower/bath, then when you took a shower, water would seep under the shower screen and wet the floors. It remains unsafe. Lastly, it can get very humid especially as you leave your room with a key, the air conditioner stops. And the room struggles to cope.

We could have assisted you better, if you only informed us immediately. At the check in, we always suggest the guests to contact us for anything.All our rooms have safes, but we cannot reveal the location publicly since they're hidden. Not enough to not be found. We're sorry you had problems with the shower too. If we knew in time, we could have fixed it or eventually even change your room...As for the air conditioning. When you remove the key from the slot, only the lights turn of, not the A/C.However, during the day, the maid turns off the A/C, when no guests are in the room. We do this for the environment.We are sorry we couldn't help you during your stay and we hope to have you again as our guest.Kindest regards

My husband and I booked Hotel Canada for our honeymoon and that was the first hotel of our trip. It exceeded our expectation. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We couldn't keep praising about it. We love the hotel has a water dispenser, so that we can refill our water bottles each time we go out. Also, we love the old style elevator at the hotel. Everything was great there!

The room was quite nice for a family, interesting painted ceilings but it is an old hotel and really quite tired. Bathroom was dated with chipped tiles and bath tub. The area around the hotel wasn’t great and pretty dirty. I wouldn’t recommend it.
