Apt. THE CAPTAIN - "Brunelleschi Manor" Medieval Apartments Resort

"We stayed at this beautiful property with our two teenagers and we agreed that it was a perfect week. The property itself is incredibly unique. It has retained wonderful medieval features while embracing modern conveniences. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking lunch and dinner was very easy but equally there were lovely restaurants literally 5 minute walk away. We all enjoyed afternoon strolls for gelato and espresso macchiato. Probably our teen's favorite feature was the fantastic pool and veranda area. We obviously loved our time very much and cannot wait to return!"

"Nothing has been left to chanceMarco has thought of everything to make your stay memorable as well as so many amenities . We would be remiss if we did not mention Giulia who is fluent in English and a wealth of knowledge. Olive trees abound, and from the moment you arrive to the day of your departure you will be enchanted with this stunning Tuscan villa. This is clearly a place which has been meticulously cared for. It is perfect as a home base to explore the cities of Tuscany. We especially loved our morning coffee overlooking the achingly beautiful view from this mountainside villa. On our last evening we had the pleasure of learning how to make two different pastas from Chef Daniela and Virginia. Both enjoyable and delightful. From the careful attention to detail in the landscaping to the tasteful interior design and decor to the impeccable cleanliness, this place is perfect for a Tuscan getaway. The photos on the website are definitely accurate although for us it is much more beautiful in person. "

"The overall experience was very pleasant, a lovely place to stay and surrounding area was nice with places to eat and a little supermarket 1 minute away. The only thing initially was when checking in there was only a woman that spoke Italian so was a bit confusing for me but she still gave me the key for the room etc...a little afterwards another woman was there that could speak English and the payment was sorted out. This wasn't a big deal to me but could be for others. Would definitely stay here again. "

Beautiful Villa incredible location

"The Villa is in a great location. Up in the hills with a beautiful view. My family enjoyed staying here. The location is very close to a train station which allowed us to travel many different places after a 20 minute drive to get to the station. Morning and evenings were picture perfect. Eating a meal outside and enjoying the lights of the city below was especially nice. The owners are great people and were friendly and helpful. I wish we had more time to spend at the Villa. We traveled every day to Florence Rome Venice etc.so we left early and came back late. My one wish is that the master bedroom had air conditioning like the other rooms did because it was hot while we were there. Apart from that the Villa is perfect and we would highly recommend staying there."

Beautiful hotel in a strange location

"Beautiful hotel - cannot fault the decor and cleanliness. Lovely staff. Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds and room facilities. The pool was great for kids and although not part of the hotel it was around the corner and free to use. The breakfast was across the road in a bar and whilst it was nice there was not a menu to choose from as such but rather you ask for a pastry or two from the selection at the bar which for me is not really what I want from a hotel breakfast but others might be happy with this set up. It is a shame the immediate area outside the hotel was not as enticing as the hotel itself. The hotel was located on what can best be described as a semi industrial estate. Instead of being greated by the gorgeous Tuscan landscape we were greated by a carpark with a petrol station, and an array of random shops. If the hotel could be lifted and dropped into the Tuscan hills it would have been perfect. If you are looking for a hotel with easy access to the airport and surrounding cities and are not interested in the immediate area then I would recommend this hotel as it was wonderful."
