"The front staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was nice and comfortable. The room had what we needed. The room was clean and comfortable for our stay."

"You get what you pay for. I had stayed here a few years ago and it was borderline back then. Matters have deteriorated. The worst aspect was the powerful and horrible stench in the room. I opened all the windows and door and with a nice breeze, the stench dissipated. I slept with all the windows open. But the next morning, when I shut the windows, the stench returned immediately. Clearly, it is embedded in the room. The likeliest culprit is the worn and stained carpeting. It needs to be torn out and discarded. The furnishings in the room were old and very badly worn."

"The rooms were clean and looked recently remodeled. The WIFI was not good, vending machines are cash/coin only, the coffee in room was sub par, no breakfast as advertised. Overall decent stay and would be better if you brought your own amenities. Just be prepared for a comfy bed and safe stay, everything else is on you."

"We had the most incredible time at this property! Monticello is a cute little town with very nice people! The house was immaculate and felt like home! The house had everything we needed - the upgrades were fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large, and the kitchen was exceptional. We even had deer stolling by in the mornings and evenings! The communication with the owner was top notch as well! I would love to come back!"
